There's not much point in playing until the new patch, assuming it isn't savegame compatible (is it?)

Thanks - it would have been quicker for you just to say yes or no. However I will now go off and scan the forums. Thanks for all the help hawk66; I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

Is the MG II+ and Bazooka II+ cost fixed in the new patch?
Question concerning Optimize AI Option

Hi all,
ORIGINAL: Vic
Here is the list of changes that made it into the v1.1j patch: ...
-added an option to random game creator to Optimize For AI (which will add a lot of small towns, the AI plays better if the distances between VPs are not to big)
I´m considering to reduce the production capacity of those small villages, as I don´t like the idea to gain lots of supply by occupying them. So I´m asking, if I understand Vic in the right way, that only the victory points of the villages determine the behaviour of the AI & not their pp´s. I didn´t had the time to test for myself, so I´m asking if anyone had tested this option & give me some hints.
thx

No
I quickly checked myself, MG II is fixed to 250, but Bazooka II still costs 300, don't know for the higher levels.

I am sure these costs are set by the scenario designer

-HQ will only show listbox above 16 subformations
Between 9 and 15 subformations in a HQ (I assume its the whole range) only 4 attributes per subformation can be displayed. The missing one is expierience (xp) Where else can the xp level of these subformations (the staff, for instance) be found?

Click on the subformation and go to formation screen.

Unless they aren't and the default values are used.

Thanks, Twotribes for taking the time to answer.
At risk of annoying someone whose expierence is greater than mine, on the "formation screen" (I assume you mean the screen that is called by clicking on the picture of the subformation to the right of the formation display which is below the main map--the screen with the disband button on it) I can find no specific information about THIS subformation, except the number of units within it, which is contained in the screen title. If you are finding current XP, RD, MO, or AP level info on this screen, could you navigate me to the spot. I do have the capacity to be that blind (took years to develope), but I have looked 10 or 12 times, and this screen (that I woiuld dub a subformation screen) seems to be the same screen that is called from the question mark icon on the production display, and contains only generic info about that unit type. Thanks for your indulgence.
