Well from the little I've seen of the " adult " shows you mention it just proves his point. I believe he means the whole adult package ie angst, fear, regret etc. not just nakedness. I don't know which cable channel it's on but to have a pseudo comedy about a serial killer is in my view just disgusting. I'm not a prude and read all I can get about serial killers but to make a comedic show about one is really bad.
Back to the Witcher
I think that the adult parts of making choices and having repercussions from them was great. The horndog parts were not really annoying it's just that they had no real part of the story except for the love triangle with the witcher,Triss, and Shani. Even there you had no real consequences when you made your choice. The other more mature theme running through it was the best I've seen in a computer game. Geralt of rivia was the most striking persona I've yet incountered in a game. it says a lot to me that I now want to read all the books in the series.
That said as far as a game it paled in comparision to Gothic 3 and Oblivion even Two Worlds was a better game. I didn't like a lot of the controls, a lot of the sub plots were idiotic and the interaction with some of the characters was bad beyond belief. It's really too bad that a great series of books and great game plots were mangled by this up and coming company. If only whoever did Oblivion had got their hands on this. It was much like a bad pc port of an Xbox game. Which as far as I know it isn't available for consoles.
This isn't really a spoiler but in my eyes the ending stank. I just kept looking at the screen saying, what the hell.
Everyone has their own opinions and there was a lot to like in the game.
