We have been eating BLTs with peanut butter for years. My wife adds to the clogging effects by adding real butter and mayo.
Alas I have developed a legume allergy but cashew butter is quite good.

I like to eat my breakfast cereal with cheese - as lunch or as an evening meal. A big bowl of cornflakes, a little sugar and small pieces of mature cheddar and/or a couple of Dairylea triangles spinkled on top. Yum... ! [:D]

Try cheddar with oatmeal. I like it with the sugary flavoured varieties. I had a crock of cheese spread and I would place a large spoonful of it into the hot oatmeal and stir it in.

I also used to eat kiwis in the army without peeling them.

Everyone knows that the skin of a New Zealander is high in protein and packed with vitamins. [;)]

I believe this would be the Northern equivalent of Cheese Grits.

I love cheesy grits, peppery grits, sugary grits too. Maybe that's where I got the idea.

Take you usual, everyday mac'n'cheese. Take a can of Albacore tuna with a dollop of hot salsa. Add them all together, mix thoroughly. Take a slice of wheat bread and fold it in half plop some of the mixture in the slice of bread like a taco.

Chow down.

Wash it down with some beer or soda, it don't really matter.

Very good.

That actually sounds pretty good Jeffrey. I love spicey foods and gonna give that a try. But, what's so special about Albacore Tuna? I was thinking of changing that from tuna to "sardines" or "anchovies" ;)

I like the Albacore because it's chunky and the texture is more solid. It holds up better in the mixture. Not sure how anchovies would work, might be interesting. The Albacore is a good, chunky, meat bulking agent.

Give it a try with all 3 and let me know how it goes.

There is nothing quite like a strawberry and Budweiser float on a hot summer day. Be forewarned, no middle aged man should have more than 1 glass a week. If you do, you run the risk of developing a "spare tire" before you can sign up for a gym membership.

Grits are the food of the Gods.  It's simply corn meal cooked up into a cereal.  Best with just butter and salt.  No civilized breakfast is complete without grits.

Nutella, on the other hand, has been scientifically proven to cause communism.  They're actually trying to sell this disgusting stuff in the United States now.  Real Americans prefer peanut butter.

I eat pomegranates one seed at a time. If you just cut into them you waste too much. Plus about 10%-30% of a typical supermarket specimen will be rotten or going bad, so this method is the best approach. A big pomegranate can take an hour to eat this way -- which, when you think of it, is about the length of an entire episode of "The Wire."

Poms are the best fruit for TV watching. However, I have to put my "Pom eating clothes" on, because lord knows that the seeds permanently stain!

Hey, I'm not alone! I, too, will change into an old, not-to-be-worn-in-public shirt before eating them.

I just wish that Poms were not nearly $2 each here in NYC. Sometimes I can get them for $0.99 but that is even steep. Still, I suppose that the health benefits are worth it, they are packed full of anti-oxidents.

I saw one site that said to quarter a pom, soak in a bowl of water and let the seeds all float out for easy eating. This, IMHO, ruins most of the fun of the pom.

Tasty cheese with red wine

Coffee beans covered in chocolate

Sultanas covered in chocolate

That's about as weird as I get [8D]

I really don't know what "porrige" is.  Anything like curds and whey?  Of course the English are famous for their cusine.[8|]  I'm sure kidney pie and blood pudding are on the buffet bar in hell.

No need to thank us Colonials for Spam, which is the best thing to happen to English culture.  In civilized countries, we eat the meat and discard the entrails.

Blood pudding and blood sausage are some of the best and coolest things a man can eat. It contains blood afterall! [8D]

And tbh, it's mostly a europewide thing, most nations have their versions of some kind of a blood food. Dates back to the good old days when an animal slaughtered was used up 100%.

I thought the entire purpose behind Spam was to use the entrails and other unidentifiable meat sources and still call it 'ham' or a 'by-product of ham' for consumer purposes.

Ok who cuts cantalopes in half spoons out the seeds and puts their favorite icecream in the center and eat the whole thing? ;) I personally like vanilla ice cream the best, but, strawberry isn't bad either. Speaking of Poms being $2 it's the same with cantalopes and I've seen watermelons as high as $8, I just will not pay that for either. I usually catch a special on both .99 cents or a real special of 2/$1 for cantalopes and wait until watermelons are like $1.99 on special. And I grew up as a kid you could get 4 huge watermelons for $1. I can't believe the prices of some things today. Hell, I retired on prices I expected to remain the same for 20 years lol it's already doubled on most things since then...shock I might have to go back to work part time....ack that would suk. lol

No, that's what Potted Meat is for. ;) Take a look at the ingredients of potted meat and vienna sausages, once you read them you may never eat either again. ;)

I'll stick w/ Spam. [:D] Anyways, the only time I eat it is Spam&eggs for breakfast on campouts. For some reason, it just tastes great then.
