Thanks for the response! I will wait for the new version before downloading. I like to play the Megacampaigns, and seen that one of them had been upgraded to enhanced format. Thought I would give it a try.

What is the difference between the DV and the DVRN Mod?

DV uses more Native languages in some of the nations, DVRN uses more 'english' language

I must have missed this, I didnt realise a mega had been updated to Enhanced, How do I get this upgrade??

what do you mean Enhance the Generals edition?
do you mean the mega campaigns?
because the basic game has already been enhanced.....'Generals Edition" was just what the 'package' that came with all 4 megas was called.

Yes, the mega campaigns. I know one was enhaced alrerady

possibly someday, but they are very long and time consuming to 'enhance'

Just when you think you know it all... Very recently my trusty 6 year old DELL gave up the ghost....I was able to save many of my files, but I had to start all over with all things SPWAW.. It is just so basic for we gamers, and I was one of the first to own SP way back when.

I had NEVER used "modswapper" and by following Alby's excellent directions on this very thread, this old-timer was able to put Enhanced in via the modswapper.(In past I had been manually putting Enhanced in over all else, but this was certainly faster and a whole lot easier!...Thank you.

yes but the INI file will be incorrect as it will be missing some newly added things, I guess I should post the updated one for those who wish to do it this way.
I cannot post files here so I will post a download link.

In the (numerous [:'(] ) other threads about it, I see posts about replacing it, dropping it into 2008, uninstalling it then replacing it, etc. This prompted my question. Redownloaded it and should be all set.

for mod swapper-This does not overwrite the previous mod, right? I still have to delete the previous 2008 mod?
I tried to enter it with the 2008 still there. Error message said the"mech.exe file had already been altered" something to that effeect.

2008 must be uninstalled before attempting to install 2009
