still a shame, the snapshots don't show what the game can really look like, but

I missed the big boom when it happened, alittle slower on the camera button then I am on the trigger

Sarge,
I think I know why the reports seem inaccurate. All the LW intell go through Goebels desk. [8D]

I am workin on my first RAF campaign, doing the Convoys. Seemed like a likely place to start to learn the system without threat of overload.[8D]

I have noticed that when fighter raids are detected they are listed as 109's but so far I have intercepted about 6 fighter sweeps and all but the last one have been 110's. I have also noted some discrepancies in reporting from both sides. I figure it is just FOW in the game. [8D]

KayBay

Don't you start on me [:D]

FOW is one thing and I don't worry about FOW, I am saying the game is not counting losses, depending on what the player does, I am getting close to being able to force the game to not count losses when I want it to

(as a tester, I detect a pattern, then work on what and why that pattern happens, and then work to be able to make it happen, right now, I am 80-90% there)

I have not seen any 110s for 109s, but I have seen some Do 17s turn into 109s (trick there is the numbers, you see a raid with 13 planes, it is a recon with a staffel of fighters with it)

I hear ya [:D]

That first raid that had 109's was showing on the marker as Ju87's. I found them and swooped in from high 4 oclock... RUH ROH... one lone Junkers sitting on top of about 12 109's. [X(]

Ouch!! I am a bit more carful now[8D]

After that I just figured what I was seeing was just FOW in the game. Have not really monitored it like I know you are.

I am just havin a blast learning the game, runnin my favorite BOB pilot, Lester Kowsnovski (Polish) ..... Repeat Please !!! [X(] (Recall that from the film BOB?)

I like how the Flight Leader keeps track of you... "Red 3, What are you doing over there?" [:D]

I will try to pay closer attention and see if I can add any clues for you.

BTW, how do you clip screenshots on this forum? I might like to add one or two if I get some that are pretty interesting.

Later,
KayBay

click on post reply (not fast) at the bottom of the box is a check mark, check that, and then hit upload pic, a brose button will show up, you got to load a picture that is supported and is of the size limit, lot of people don't know how to do it, but once you do, it is easy

screenshots from with in the game, are the wrong type, but you can resave the screenshot into Jpeg and it will upload

some shots from the other side

1st Staffel of I/JG52 is assigned to escourt some bomber pukes to bomb Tangmare, we go along for the ride

soon the scream is heard, Englanders, break, and away we go, diving and turning, trying to keep the English fighters away from our pukes (they may be pukes, but they are our pukes)

soon the regroup call is made, we have chased them from the skies, my blood on fire, I have shot down 6 of the tommies, soon my throat rash will be cured, as i watch the bombers turn for home, I notice that most of missed the target, it is plain as day down there, and no smoke, no fire, well, I will see about that

and down I go

I catch the field by surprise, the black men are working on there machines, looks like a bomber field, twins parked all over the place

opps uploaded the wrong shot :(

the CO will have a fix when he hears about this, a single plane making a raid on a English Airfield, but he is a old man, he should be back home in his rocking chair, this is a young mans war

young Eagles and young Lions are what the Fatherland needs

but even the best, the bravest, know when it is time to run away, make a last pass and waggle my wings as I fly away

Tangmare is a mess, well, I think it was Tangmare

ahhh, my throat is feeling better already, soon it will be cured

the boys are in good form and break up the attack before the stukas get hit

turn my head and get a strange feeling, and head off to see what it is

Great action shots and story line. Shows some of the BOBII effects as well.

people don't know what there missing, if they don't get a chance to see it

and to be honest, the game looks alot better then the screen shots

what is impressive is getting into a large battle

nothing like 90 He 111s, with 36 Bf 110s with 36 Bf 109s on high cover, matching up with 60 some Spits and Canes

talk about a furball

screenshots don't show what those are like

I love this game too ... I started Pilot Campaign like hurricane pilot in 310.squadron, but found hurry pilot life too hard ... so now playing 54.squadron with spits and it is really fun ... great game

Ahhh, Canes are fun, they just can't go up, but they are great vs the Bombers and the 110

get the 109s down on the deck and then the Cane can do some tricks

just don't fly in a stright line

I had a problem, that my squadron was moved to Lympe airfield and here we had usually problem to attack from good height ... and one time we were ambushed by 110s during take of ... 8 hurries was shot down in one minute ... expect mine [:@]

ahhh, kind of bummed, this one didn't come out close to what it looked like when it happened

heck, I don't even know what I hit, but it was a big one

I was in the middle of nothing but flames

I had to advance the game a few seconds to get out of the flames and get a snapshot of it
