Turn 4 saw the Germans take Karosten, Zhitomir and crossing the Bug river in several places.  All Russian units in range and sight, including many armor units, were totally eliminated. This turn was a slaughter at a cost of 4 German rifles.

Kiev and the 2 forts to the west have fallen into German hands. Also Fastow and Uman and all cities on the Bug river.

What carnage?  The Ruskies in center must be digging like rats around moscow.
I see only poor starving conscripts in the central plains.

The going is getting harder, The Russians are trying to take back Kiev,  large losses both sides.

Hi All,

I got the turn and sent it on to Sov. Center today. Sorry for the delays but I'm on a business trip until Tuesday. Then I'm back until Sunday morning when I leave again for a week so it will be slow again then.

T6 sent to Soviet SW Fronts

Turn sent to AGN, I am holding the line at Kiev so far but Axis forces are massing across the river for a final push. Production centres have taken damage and it is not sure how the rag tag Russian forces can maintain their position.

Turn 7 to Giacomo. Soviets hit the Finns hard last turn, breaking out over the river. That meant that there was only one thing to do...counterattack! After destroying most of the breakthrough the Finns yielded their left flank and welcomed the first of the reinforcing German Infantry divisions to be shipped across the Baltic. Rifle/SMG II was finally bought this turn and several thousand supplies were expended in a mass upgrade. Still have another 50-60 SFT's left to upgrade, but I need to get those forces in good supply range of their HQ's first...
