yeah i wanted to be numberless. Kinda makes it neat looking.
I used Paintshop to do the black and white photo. Its has a black and white buttom. simple

I use about 4 programs to do my photos sometimes.

ORIGINAL: Old Coach

I think what maybe happening with your facemasks is:
1) You assign the facemask color for each team to whatever facemask color folder in which you have the blank pink BMP's. The screenshot below shows that I have one facemask folder in my MaxFB game folder. Just so happens I chose to use the "aqua" color folder.

2)The pictures below the black line show the contents of the "aqua" folder. You still have to assign each player a facemask in the player editor section of the game. If all the BMP's in the folder are blank pink then there should be no facemasks. One other thing, if you have player detail set to high, the game will assign a dark facemask to each player regardless of how you assign the facemask. Set your player detail to medium/normal. Definitely don't set player detail to low.

Hope this helps,
Old Coach

I did the same thing but I copied the Aqua file, made 1 thru 13 blank and then renamed the file "None" and put it back in the Commons folder. That way I can select "None" as a facemask option.

I've been trying to find  visual references for old NFL uniforms (20s-40s). Here's one site that at least mentions uniform colors with some old pictures to look at.

I used the normal PSP template to do the jerseys. When I added the stripes i set it below the texture layer to give it a material look.
