gotta admit, I'm confused
cos I use other stadiums that are very similar in size to this one
like gator bowl and merenge double deck, have no trouble with them
But this one just wont go, its doing the same thing as spike bowl
Puzzler............[&:]

Hey Guys,
I Re edit and Fix a few minor things with Bedrock field, should be the last.
Most are not noticable. I clean up the crowd bmps and added a fence on the ground bleachers. Also seperated fans.x from bedrock2.x....Hopefully will help Mykals prob.but maybe not.
Anyhow new version has been uploaded so it should be ready for download.
Heres a few shot.

Mykal my friend you need to pop over to your local computer store and eye up the video cards. let me know what the prices are and I can tell you if you are getting a reasonable deal (something in the GeForce 7000 series is more than enough for maxfb)

Hoop27 is correct. I have a 512m Geforce 7600 PCIE. It gives me framerates from 50s-70s in Max. 2 Gig ram also helps.

Yep, I know
going the whole hog, the one Im after has 1024 geforce 8800 graphics memory
2 gig ram and a 3.2 processor, so I think I'll have it covered.

if it doesnt cost you too much extra may I suggest going to 3 or 4 gigs of ram. I have a sneaking suspicion that the next version of Windows is going to be a 2 gig whore! (yes I said next version, everyone sigh along)

Hmmmmmm...............
well the one i'm going for has windows xp on it........complete with the windows xp disk
now correct me if Im wrong (its hard to stay upto date with technology)
but xp works fine upto 2 gig, any extra ram after that isnt really used or not used properly
at least thats my understanding..........feel free to correct me if thats not the case.
Mykal
Right I'll correct myself
2 gig on xp is the best fit for that os (more wont hurt the system but may well not be used)
4 gig ram at upto 800mhz does not function correctly
you might if your lucky be able to address 3 gig of the ram but probarbly only 2 gig will be addressed
but...................4 gig at 1066mhz seems to be compatible
or at least I recieved no warning when requesting 4 gig at 1066mhz with xp
but I did at 4 gig 800mhz

I don't know what the prices are in England, but I got a Vista, 3gb, GeForce 8xxx, Phenom for $550. It may be more expensive over there, but this computer plays MaxFB and all the stadiums with no slowing down.

Wish I was where you are
prices in the UK are far more inflated than that brother
I'm always going over my choices before I buy
but the cheepest build I can get of a good system is £804 thats $1.593.36 to you
3 times the price...........jeepers man I need to move to the US hahahahaha

Thats what I was afraid of. I remember having to buy a computer while over there and we had the same problem, but I didn't remember it being that bad. I think we paid three hundrend pounds for a normal computer, but I may be wrong.

Yep, things have gotten much worse
you cant buy even a simple pc for less £500
well actually you can, if you buy it on its own with no monitor and such
but even then its only good for one thing to the likes of us............going in the bin

damn thats insane. as for your 2 gig thing with XP I believe I heard something about that as well. I'll check with a buddy of mine that used to be with our geek squad at best buy and see if he can clarify that for me. I'll let you know
