Holy Crap Ryan you are prodigious!

But we need them textured, rigged and animated!

How are those KTs doing?  I'm almost ready to give them something worthy to fight.

Who is the "we" and is this going to be finished?

If not I will start my own.

I think in reality Steve it won't get done unless you do it yourself.

Ask Ryan for the raw max models, he may give them to you to start texturing and animating.

I wonder if it's being saved for the next game, as Ryan is doing the 3d stuff. If so, that would be a good sign for getting more late war stuff.

Too bad on the other hand, if so as I needed it for something I am (slowly) working on that requires '45 German heavy hitters.

Me too. One of the 3 tank battles around Tuchebahn, Gorgast and Goslow involved JS-IIs vs Tiger 2.

Im not paying again for a more complete version of a game Ive already bought. Ive noticed that some companies are really good at incorperating into the next version of their game something that a fan made previously for free.

Comp vid Games often have too many mediocre mods.

I call it "graffiti". ('Cause that's what it is.) Someone sells you a train and then others paint there names on it; then you carry it around pretending it all still "works"(firepower, damage model, speed, scale wise).

On the other hand I understand that humans have a pack rat impulse and free mods allow one to create a list and then check it off for almost "free"! (Thus creating psychological comfort. ....but at the expense of burdensome 'graffiti'.)

++++++++++++
Are these other games from matrix _AND other similar companies(eg 'CM:x')_ as historically accurate as this one?

I like the history write ups and OOBs, with the PzC series. It single handedly taught me the real military story of WWII. (Note, being an american I'm simple and filled with mash.

WWII... it aint just about cigar chomping peasents crawling up ir/quasi relavent beaches and fronts ...hmm who woulda thunk.)

Sweet.

I like the anti sticky mine paint. (That's what those lines are on German tanks right?)

Random Capture I like:

"Hitler Youth"

I has the Zimmerit anti-magnetic paste
I don’t think it will do anything against a sticky bomb.
Evem less against the rare velcro-bomb.[:D]

Very nice. Is this the final model, or are you gonna pare it down, some more, poly-wise?

I'm adding polys to the treads. I'm also waiting for a book with 1/35 scale blue prints so I can use them to make the turret roof and get some other features the right size.
Also, my hatch animation flips the hatch up instead of to the side. I'll probably borrow the hatch and animation off the Panther (I use its cupola as well) as it is the right size and opens correctly.

Ah. Now I get it.

That's alright: only the Germans were "audacious" enough to work on secret velcro-weapons technology.

...Many a fine man was lost in the prototype trials.

Nearing completetion.

Once I had better blueprints and a book of closeup shots I had to redo certain parts of the model. Now it nearly ready for the camo coloring and some further testing.

[Edit] Looks better with some color

Both that and the jagdpanther look real nice.

Is it hard to make models?

I want to do some ...sIG33(sf) Bison, Grille (sf)sIG38, etc.

And the armour list in the scenario editor needs work. (corrections etc)
