Excellent, I'm signed up for the Pro Football League.

I'm in the pro to defend my title. Should be fun, it was last year.
 
 Got 2 drafts that day one at 10:00am cst and this one at 12:00 CST busy day.

Autodraft? [&:]

Autodraft means you make a list of the players you want and when the draft is set to run, when it is your turn you are given the next available player on your list. You can simply accept he default ordering if you don't want to take the time to try to "game the system". By that I mean tinker with the order based on when you think guys are going to go (particularly in the later rounds) to get "sleepers" you want or not waste a potential pick on someone that the "experts" rank high - but you think will be a bust.

THis systme allows you some influence over who you get (or don't get), without requiring you to be onlne at a specific place and time.

Good response on the leagues, but I'd like to see at least 2 more teams in each league!

I am in the autodraft league right now. I usually do the pro league but I may not be abe to do the live draft this year so I was leaving it open for someone who can. If you need another body I can join and just set a list.

Actually, if it's just a case of not being able to make the draft, so long as you trust your player rankings (if you do a custom pre-draft rankings list in the autodraft league, you can export to to other Yahoo leagues, too), you could still join, and it will autodraft for you in your draft slot. Kind of a crapshoot, since you never really know how good a job it's going to do, though.

This league has 1QB 3WR 2RB 1TE 1W/R 1K 2D 3DB, 3DL and 8 bench slots. 12 teams , 3 week playoff (weeks 14, 15, 16 - 6 teams)

Winner in each league gets a Matrix game download - (assuming you can beat Erik and I [8D]

One question...I was changing my pre-draft rankings, and figured I'd look at the categories for defensive players. There was sort of a small group of the occasional big name with a few "Who the Hell is that?" types. Are the names in there at that time (this was earlier in the week) the names that will be there Sunday, or will every DL, DB and LB be an option come draft time?

Here's the info from Paul, you want to go to http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com ... ?type=home and click on "Join a League" (the blue button) under the Football '08 section on the right. Then type in the ID and the password per the info below. I'd love to have a few more in the "Pro" league, but I think all of them still have room.

They should all be in there. Go to the Players section and you can sort/filter by position and by any of the stats/rankings including "Fan Pts" which is the calculated points per the league system of each player. You can also specify what period you want to look at (i.e. 2007 performance, projected 2008 performance, etc.)
