High Noon's Score

Thank you Sir! I THINK I have stabilized the situation and am now working to keep him 'fixed' where he is with 1st Corps as Rodes Division now deploys to cut them off.

Here is the score at Noon. I have trashed Buford's Cavalry Division as well as Wadsworth Infantry Division. Within a few turns I will trash Doubleday's Infantry Division as well. We'll have to see after that...

Harry Heth's Confederate Infantry Division has been mangled while Pender's is just now getting into the fight.

Pender and Rodes

Here comes the rude surprise! As Heth and Pender maintain contact with the Union 1st Corps here comes Rodes on their flank!

Rodes Arrives

This shot shows all of Rodes' Division as it moves in. As you can see there isn't much Union strength deployed in front of me yet. I will move quickly to roll-up the Union position on Oak Hill and drive towards the Seminary. That should draw in the 11th Corps so when Early's magnificent Division (old Stonewall Jackson shock troops) comes onto the map in about an hour, they should be able to finish the job and/or drive on Culp's Hill to gain a lodgement...

Good work! Now, you just need to close the door on them.

You lost a few batteries though...that might end up hurting you in the points!

Ashantai--you are correct with that thought, however, I MAY be able to score so massive a victory this day that it doesn't really matter!

Early and Rodes find a single Brigade in their path. This is all that rests between them and the complete destruction of the 1st Corps and grabbing one of the main hills.

Restart

Nemo has requested a restart since he knew nothing of the actual battle and is in the process of being destroyed with the 2nd Corps entering the Battlefield.  Additionally, he hasn't played this set of games in a few years and his learning curve has been abit steep.  I don't wish to take advantage of this so we shall restart and I will begin a new AAR.

There will be changes.  I hate being predictable!

Good game none the less...did you want to continue vs the AI? That'd be kinda cool.

Now that is an Interesting idea!  I could Hot Seat it too and play against myself.  Right now--if I was Union Commander--I would be crying and retreating as fast as possible!  Let me think on that some.
