Thankyou.  I'm not a Patton admirer, but I'll take that as a compliment.
Yet the CP economy is in very good shape, is it not?  And diplomatically, things couldn't be better.

Lets see how it looks at the next strat phase. But you have almost conquered all of Germany!

August 1916.  The French capture Rostock and Stettin.  The British take Leipzig.   A French assault on Wilhelmshaven is repulsed.
General Dobell opens a staff meeting with one word:  "Berlin."

This is the most humiliating defeat I've ever witnessed in the history of this game.

Buck up, boogada, we have all been to Valhalla. You fought with valor and honor, and we both learned things -- those are victories anyday.

Look at the bright side. In my experience you learn a lot more from getting your ass kicked then you do by winning.

So your purpose in this game wasn’t winning or losing but learning enough to comprehensively humiliate your opponent in your next game.

The best revenge is writing a AAR and detail your victory for our entertainment.

August 1916. After phosgene saturation, infantry of the British Empire storm into Berlin, suffering few casualties.
Field Marshall Dobell staggers under the weight of medals showered on him, and is now Viscount of Brandenburg.
The viscountess takes a lover.

September 1916. After an unfortunate open-mike "Let 'em eat piroshki" moment, the Tsar is deposed.

The fronts converge:

Casualties are about 2.7m per side, so I'm guessing all those starved Russians and Germans are not included in the death toll.

11:00 November 11. 1916. Regrettably, the Great War has ended.

Germany is remade into a large theme park, complete with biergartens, flying circiuses, and U-boat rides.
Austria-Hungary says the whole thing was an unfortunate misunderstanding, a typical foreign ministry
snafu, laughable really, if you knew the details. And the ArchDuke Ferdinand was adopted anyhow,
and never that popular.

The two retired emperors join up in show biz: the comedy team of "Nick & Willy" is a boffo smash hit
in New York.
