I didn't see this on the "coming soon list". Is this going to be a Digital DL from the matrix site  or from a partnered site. Also do you plan on creating a Forum block for the community?

System requirements say that it won't work on my comp. *sigh*
I guess I'll stick to JA2 1.3

A forum for this should be up soon and this will be available from our store, both download and as a "Standard" (box + printed manual) edition.

Arrr, shiver me timbers! Thar rumor be true! Three score days from now be my guess as to th' date o' release, but thar's no guarantee! Thar devs are workin' on a mighty patch, loaded in like double shot before thar game sees tha light o' day for our release. Never fear, me hearties, the Cap'n has his good eye on this one.

Arrr.

Sir, what you are doing is write like a pirate. "Write Like A Pirate Day" is some time in May, and it was never really popular, as back in the 17th century most pirates were illiterate anyway.[;)]

Awesome!

The news of the game getting patched before release is good. The demo from a year ago isn't so good for the game, and the game itself wasn't in a very good state before. But sounds like it'll hit North America with a bang. Might just get this one [;)].

After playing the current demo(2007) I have to say Strategy First did the right thing pulling the plug on this project.
Mostly was due to money, not the game itself, though it was in a pretty sad state before. Poor guy lost his job over it [:(].

Cool stuff! I'm willing to give something like this a try. I'm also ok with waiting till after Christmas, as my gaming budget is all shot up (like the guys in JA2). Would love to see more info though, seems Martix has been doing some surprise releasing as of late and I get all turned around! [;)]

Great game. It still ranks in my top 5 favorite games that have ever graced my pc.

Yep, me too. I still laugh when I think of that one Merc whose response to you asking him to make an improbable shot, "Who do you think I am, Siegfried und Roy?"

And that evil female dictator was hilarious when she would bitch-slap her lackey. [:D]

Just a few more weeks now, I'd say by the end of November. I've been playing around with it and it's definitely a fun game and pretty faithful to the whole Jagged Alliance design and feel.

Erik...Your so lucky, any chance you could hook me up with a copy? LOL ... Just kidding. Thanks so much for the fast response to my question. I am a Disabled Gamer who's favorite type of game is Turn-Based Strategy....so like many other fans of this style I have been waiting a long time for a game like this. Please keep us up[dated on the release.

No problem. I also want to reiterate that the version we'll be releasing is updated from the one that was released this year in Europe. As far as we can tell from our testing, the bugs that some reported with that European release have all been fixed.

Will Matrix get any support from the developers, after it's release?

What are the system requirements? Sheesh, hopefully not too much for an isometric view turn based shooter.

Well, it's isometric view by default, but it's fully 3D so you can zoom in and out and adjust the view to whatever angle you want. That takes more hardware than the old 2D games. It's still not super-demanding, I'm guessing Perturabo has an older system.
