I too bought my Starshatter TGS from a retail store.  I also can clearly see my registration code when I click on "Click here to view your Registered Serial Numbers" but no 5.03beta.  No response from support either.  Sigh!  [&:]   This is no way to run a starship let alone put a man on the moon.  What's a star jockey got to do to get a beta around here?

I have the beta patch now thanks to a member here who emailed it to me. Haven't installed it yet though. I'm going to do a clean install of Starshatter:TGS and then install the 5.03 beta patch and see how it goes.

1 month and 10 days has now passed since I requested help to get the beta patch and I still don't have it. Do I need to beg or what? [&o]

Did you request help through our Help Desk? Please not that we do not have the staff to check every thread in every forum, things do slip through.

I'll check to see if there's a problem with retail serial numbers not working with the update. As far as I know, they're in there, so I'm not sure what the issue could be.

Regards,

- Erik

I found and fixed the problem. The person who posted the update did indeed forget to add the retail numbers to the "download enabled" list. Our bad, very sorry for the inconvenience, the guilty parties will be reeducated. The patch itself should work find for you though and you should be able to see it now.

Great. Thanks Eric. But as I said in another post someone sent the the patch already so don't need it now but it's good that it is now fixed for other people that had the same issue.

Some things to do if you are running Vista. Right click game shortcut or exe and select properties. Under compatibility tab select XP SP2 mode, select disable visual themes, select to run the games as administrator. That will solve issues with TrackIR not working and issue with menus at bottom of screen.
