Howdy,
No, the game only considers the options enabled. If the option is in the disabled column (even a duplicate), it has no effect.
More information is available in our online manual.
http://computerharpoon.com/wiki/main/in ... .OPT-Files
edit - also, multiple entries in one column have no affect beyond the first entry.
Thanks,

Playing the scen mentioned I meet the following issue:
- aircraft leave their patrol stations assigned to with AAW missions. They go for unknown contacts and prosecute them despite the contradictory setting via opt-file (restricted to patrol zone)

Is it possible to extend the expiry of RC13?

I agree! What is up with the expiration!?!? I know this has been used before and I seem to remember a work-around (OTHER than resetting my system clock!). I'll search around. Very frustrating!

Hey guys,
A build without the expiration will be out shortly. Sorry for the gap.
Thanks,

This problem was not fixed in Patch 3.9.4
File-Save uses original scenario name
Once a saved game name was used, the File Save command should have simply used it and overwritten the previous saved game file. Instead, a new Saved game file is created using the original *.SCN name as a prefix and *.SAV suffix. (Originally reported by Morphin)
1. Load any scenario file in GE (SE works properly)
2. Order File >> Save As command
3. Save As dialogue window appears
4. Save game under any name
5. Order File >> Save command
6. New saved game file is created with using the original scenario name as a prefix and *.SAV as a suffix

Hi all,
I haven't downloaded 3.9.4 yet. After reading some the posts I think I might hold off. So I take it there are still quite a few (new?) bugs?

I'd recommend going ahead and downloading it. It's still one heck of a simulation.

You may as well grab the 394 patch. Otherwise, you may not be able to play scenarios made with the PlayersDB

There is no need to use this beta/release candidate patch any longer. The official 3.9.4 patch has already been released:
ftp://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/Harpoon3A ... e-v394.zip
For the least number of problems, don't forget to update to the latest edition of the
PlayersDB, too. [:)]
