Tampa Bay wins World Series 4 games to 2


Dave Bush (MILW) won the NL Cy Young Award, as expected. Bush was 22-2 with a 1.67 ERA.

Adam Dunn (CINN/ARIZ) won the NL MVP. Dunn hit .288, with 52 HRs and 112 RBI.

Jered Weaver (LAA) took home the AL CY Young. He went 23-4 with a 2.64 ERA.

Aubrey Huff (BALT) gave Bird fans something to cheer about, capturing the AL MVP. Huff batted .334, with 30 HR and 106 RBI. Huff led the majors with 224 hits and tied for the major league lead with 53 doubles.

Joe Mauer (MINN) won the AL batting title at .346.

Carlos Beltran (NYM) took the NL batting crown, hitting .338.

Dunn's 52 homers topped the NL, while Alex Rodriguez (NYY) belted 51 to top the AL.

Carlos Delgado (NYM) led the NL with 134 RBI, while David Ortiz (BOS) knocked in 124 to lead the AL. Ortiz missed 6 weeks of the season, due to injury.

Cy Young Award winners Bush (NL) and Weaver (AL) led their respective leagues in ERA.

There were six 20-game winners: Weaver 23, Cliff Lee (CLEV) 22, Bush 22, Cole Hamels (PHA) 20-7, Jon Lester (BOS) 20, and James Shields (TB) 20.
