As some suggested, I add my vote for a feature to set up and play tac battles outside of strat mode. It would be very welcome, not only it will make short MP sessions much easier, but also help player learn the ropes of the tac games without having to wait for interesting battles to occur in their strat game - or screwing them by being unable to play battles correctly! The tac battles are very detailed and complete, nearly enough to be in themselves a full game.
Imagine being able to setup and play Austerlitz, Wagram and Waterloo, or Gettysburg in FoF !!

Adding this feature would beat empire total war in the a**.I'm not that big of a fan of grand strategy, I like the action of being on the frontline killing enemies, not running a country(I hate politics). My hatred of politics means I will do very bad in the strategyic part the game, because I dont give a rat's butt about making others countries happy. If I want to go to war, I'm going to declare war, reguardless of what other countries think.

Agree. It doesn't have to be a "historical battle", just a "skirmish mode" that allows you to pick your enemies, your army, and pick a province on the strategic map and the engine randomly generates a map.
