You have played the USSR now a few times and must have a lost of experience with it. Do you think they are overall stronger or weaker in comparison to other major nations than they use to be in RtV? (compared to only Finland they appear to have not gained in strength, rather the other way around - a good adjustment. But that could be because Finland got so much stronger, not the USSR weaker)

Your maps look really sharp and equal to your game play. Which counter mod do you use?

I will post the Finland attack in a bit, but I am taking them down with really massive parachute operations. Everything moves slowly but transport aircraft, and the skies over Finland are full of parachutes.

I think the drop of effectivness versus Germany when Barbarossa starts confuses the strength picture. If the USSR makes it through the early period then watch out because they come back strong. As in RtV the German player must be strong and very aggressive. They have a window of opportunity when very little can stand against them, and they must make hay while that Sun shines. When you go for Gary - go hard!

I am using swatter555's nice counters, and carnifex's nice city map mod. The supply and port symbols are very good indeed. The variety of great mods we have is a joy.
