F41 Axis

Fresh from the conquest of Cairo and the middle east high command has decided that the 'Desert Fox' would be best suited to command the invasion of russia...

So instead of persisting in an endless war in africa/india the middle east is instead fortified and forces are deployed to romania and west poland...russia looks ready to pop any second now

Not much fighting this turn, large number of oil wells in the middle east repaired however...german production has hit x3 and is really starting to pump out some good stuff...

No conflict this turn...Nice hit on 2 x strat bombers in western france last turn tho...hopefully we wont see these bad boys for a few more turns [:D]

Germans prepare for barbarossa...japan starts to expand its web

Low activity this winter. 1 german tranny sunk.

German generals convince hitler to wait another turn to build up sufficient supplies for barbarossa campaign...

That's one more turn quiet for the soviets...

Barbarossa begins... germans encircle forces sitting in eastern poland resulting in destruction of two tank divisions and a number of infantry...raids are conducted on russian factories in the urals from bomber squadrons situated in iraq...

All other forces push into Kiev and baltic states...

Lone militia [:-] sitting in grozy is overpowered by amphib landing of german mountain troops...will probably lose unit next turn but 3 resources are damaged in the process...

Japanese strike at the heart of allied merchant shipping...hopefully that should keep them busy for a couple of turns [:D]....

Factories in india are damaged and the DEI are taken...

Germany continues to consolidate the ground it made last turn...

Wehrmacht push into kharkov but the bloody battle is pretty even for both sides...[:'(]

Leningrad falls relatively easy however...Russian navy in the baltic sea is eliminated [8D]

Lead lease terminated thanks to germany cruisers......and a couple more russian factories are nailed...

In the pacific japan is unopposed and waltz's down the east coast of australia and eliminates the british in singapore

SU 44 AXIS

Well we missed a couple of AAR's so here is the situation in Europe...




Fortress Europe is holding up quite well...The atlantic wall is heavily reinforeced which has forced the allies to take italy...hopefully this will slow the allies down a little as they try to get reinforces and supplies through the sub invested western med...northern italy has a mass of defensive fortifications as well

Romanian troops are holding the line against the russians...will be bit put under more pressure when troops from moscow join up with them...

In the pacific another large carrier battle takes place to buy the japs some more time...

Interestingly there are no carriers from either side in the pacific following this battle [X(]
