okay score is climbing

got another 2 points this day, also did well in closing the losses ratios, even got 14 of them Spit V's (those are worth there weight in gold)

overall plan is working well, so time to reinforce victory

JG 2 has moved over to JD 2 (so will have another JG for the main fighter battles)

Flinger IV is being locked in as a Night bomber command

Flinger V will be for daylight, with JG 27 and 53 for protection

part of Flinger VIII will stay in place for now, those Stuka's are the do or die option (they will knocked out any target, but will pay doing so)

the IT bombers are also locked into the Night Command, leaving there fighters for sweeps, tricky, since they match up well with the Cane I, only, the RAF pretty much stopped flying that months ago

that leaves Luft 5, still not sure what to do with the boys in Norway, overall, the idea is to keep them in place to keep the RAF honest, but, they do not do much damage at night, and can be hurt bad during the day if they get caught

well, of course, that snap is a little before what I am talking about, but the IT's get to have some fun today (so far)

the other side of the kannal

got to keep the RAF honest

the more they have to defend, or think they have to defend, the weaker they are elsewheres

Arrrghh!

This is my favorite part! It would be nice to see a vid of the next few minutes of game time.

The backdoor sweepers have just caught up with the RTB fighters.
Looks like good strategy/tactics/timing! -- 'cause we all know that luck has nothing to do with it, right? [:D]

it runs great on my Vista 64, don't know about 7 (in fact, runs better on my laptop then on my big fancy desktop)

for the thumbdrive, what kind of transfer rate does that have ? that is the only hold up, I can see

during testing, I was able to set up the Exe to Window mode with what Gary was sending me, never tried with Harley's stuff (window mode drives me nuts, so I try to stay away from it :)

HS;

You just keep giving me the "correct answers" everytime. I'll be playing on a laptop.
The plan is to stick the game on an Express SSD.
I enjoy hearing the music, but my CD drive gave-up-the-ghost on the old computer.
What I would like with the window mode, is having a concurrent spreadsheet showing intell I discovered about various targets. ie, what type of AA guns!

Hard Sarge,

Do you make much use of the new system of waypoints?
I assume plotting these is easier than in the original BOB and BTR?

I would have to say, YES, I used them, use them alot, and they are very importent

overall, I still am used to the old way, so use the mouse to set the points most times, but have been trying to use the bottons to do it more, it can be odd though, I do try to plot the exit point, to be as long as I can, to where I want it going, the AI is going to try and follow the WPs, but if damaged, low on fuel, it is going to go into fastest way home, so tends to cut the corners, so I try and help it along with giving it the shortest route out

Figures, plotted the raids and took my snaps, but didn't have the program running, so only get the last one

goal for the day, is to get to the next level for Terror and SD

main targets are Rubber and OilS sites, need to start getting the attack under focus, 2ndary raids are RR and Terror

going heavy after 10 Group on the other side

Would help if I attached the snap shot

what you don't see if the first raid, headed towards one of the ports on the east coast, that is the decoy, but don't plan on it really pulling too many planes out of the battle, maybe keep Cotterhall (?) honest

interesting day, almost another one of those, what happened to my plans !!!!

first wave took off fine, then the 2nd wave ran into heavy weather and sat, my units that needed the cover and confusion of the 1st wave, were almost a hour late in there take off, that hurt, also, the main raid of the day was late in taking off, which ended up finding a wall of clouds on top of there target

my It Fighters took a bit of hurt, but they did there job well, those attack planes and Stukas could of been slaughter bait

didn't live up to my goals, but came in close, which is almost the same thing

this is almost a cowhorn/bullhorn attack, works well, when it works (of course, the 5 missing raids would of made it work much better !)

just in case, bad things are going on, on the home front, so I am sort of distracted

here is the damage from the day's raids, decent, but could be much better

wanted that dang RR, think that is the 3rd raid on it

of course that is the wrong damage screen, but wanted to show it also

the simi decoy raid, did what was expected, pulled some Squadrons from the North in, of course, the 4 planes shot down in the first pass, wasn't expected, nor was the lead Gruppen, dropping there load and turning for home, totally shattered the formation, and let the RAF get some cheap shots in, but in the end, the rest regrouped and headed in and did decent damage to the target, just glad it wasn't a deep raid, they would of been slaughtered

which as said, that is a snap with the F2 key hit, so only the targets that were plotted are showing

here are the late boys

here are the losses as of day 4, the IT fighters did a good job in protecting there charges, they still took heavy losses but not as bad as it could of been

even got a few in return, but most were just damaged and driven off

that target bears a charmed life, the recon bird got nailed right on the coast coming home

shifted one of my Ju 86 units to the south, nothing like a 40 K mission, to find out what you want

got my SD damage, am close to the Terror damage, did well on RAF losses, but still battle is a little tight, but I think I am closing in
