I went out for a meal a few nights ago to a restaurant that's part of a small chain of eateries in Britain called 'Tampopo'. They specialise in East Asian food. Their placemats are maps of South East Asia, explaining where the different dishes and foods come from. As invigorating as the dinner conversation was, I was staring at my placemat and daydreaming about POW/Repulse, Palembang and the DEI.

Deary me.

That's why the AI has such an advantage. While the human players are spending valuable planning time with superfluous activities like eating and going out, the sneaky little AI is hiding in the computer, making all sorts of devilish plans to get your Repulse and Palembang and DEI.

Cheers [:D]

I live about a 15 minute walk from the USS Intrepid. I've been several times and will probably go back soon. The SB Dauntlesses are ENORMOUS, as big F-14 Tomcats if I remember correctly. You'd be amazed at how small modern jets like the F-16 are compared to WWII fighters when parked near each other.

When standing on the Intrepid's deck you do get a sense of the tremendous vulnerability of these large but wide target CV's. You can imagine how terrifying a series of Kamikaze attacks would be.

There is also a vintage 1960's submarine there and i did not think it was possible to have bathrooms/showers that small!!
