The problem with Hetzers is that an errant wad of pigeon dung will immobilize them. Jess's Shermans are definately not shooting pigeon dung. I already have had several beaten into pillboxes.

Jess didn't trust his Shermans to beat the Cats! He seems to have brought along some Jacksons!

I had a coupla Hetzers pump several rounds into a hull-down Sherman, to no effect. Boinkboinkboink, and I'm not talking porn either!

I had a Panther G take a shot from a 76mm round, shrug it off, and destroy the first Sherman!

The battle thus far is taking place on and around a big hill near the north border of the map. Jess's troops on one side, me on the other.

The Americans still have a bug up their butts about my harmless milk-delivery cars! Lost two more, one to Rangers south of that hill, one to a 76mm stop sign!

I'm scared! I am also making newbe mistakes. Lost a Panther to a Ranger assault! I'm backing off a little to regroup! Don't worry, I am just saving myself for lil Jenny!:)

I also put four rounds into a Sherman with Hetzers, but it survived. A Jackson up north shot it out with a Hetzer also, both are still alive.

Seems one of those goblins snot-glued himself to a 81mm Mrt round, landed right on top of one of my M4 easy8's...he seems to have killed the crew and the tank with his stench alone...

That same mortar crew just hit a Sherman in the bottom! They are highly skilled experts! I didn't kill it, however.

A Hetzer put another two rounds into a Sherman. BONKBONK. The Sherman finally shot back and hurt the Hetzer. This little fire fight is south of the big hill where the main fighting is occuring, with my Hetzer on another large hill, shooting across a broad, green valley. I believe the fight is spreading southwards. This is gonna get real nasty soon. Daddy likey!

How could they have missed...I sent a spent easy8 (knowing to his death) to pull in 155 rounds on a big fat panzer convoy! there are MkIV's, Panthers, Kingy's and more! I called all my 155's down on him! not one hit!

so much smoke...he should be running low on ammo soon!

Ok, I came over that big hill in the north. I also came around it on the north and south of the hill, down to where my Hetzers are on the other hill. I came over the hill into a torrent of 76mm, 90mm, and M9 HEAT rockets! Ouch. Lots of Mein Gotts that time!:(

End result- more burning Hetzers, 2 broken and blasted PzIV's, several dead Rangers, and a twisted wreck that used to be a very dented Sherman. The crew of another very dented Sherman bugged out, and I don't blame them. They fought a group of PzIV's, then a coupla Hetzers, then some Panther G's arrived to pump rounds into them! I woulda bailed long before that!

I would call that an even round, but Jess still gets to respond! Yuck!:( I did not spot the Jackson that was shooting down a road between the north hill and the map edge, but I am sure it cost me a PzIV during Jess's turn.

My 155's did not kill any panthers but they sure must have a ringing in their ears! Lots of burning tanks in the north, Goblin seems to be making a "v" push...

Still not time to call in Jenny, but its getting close!

So far..very fun..very deadly...and even matched!

I did lose that Pz IV to that Jackson, and another on top of it. Then a King Tiger pulled up, and slugged it out, shrugging off the 90mm's (and a HEAT round from some Rangers) and returning fire. No dice. Just can't get the range on it.

Jess's arty is right on. Thar be bells a ringin'! HUH? I SAID "THAR BE BELLS A RINGIN' "! HUH? EH, WHAT?! NEVER MIND! YEAH, WATCH OUT FOR MINES! AAARRGH!

The battle north (moving now southward) is deadly, both sides giving and taking, I had to pull a little "Jenny" up front to slow him down, (I think I slowed him dawn;) )

M4- a M4 is battle mad

Lordy but there are rounds soaring all over the place. I plowed up the road on the north border with two Tiger IE's and a Panther, and got that Jackson hiding in the smoke. Some battle damage on my tanks. 90mm AP rounds will do that!

Between the two hills, I killed a Sherman across the valley with a Panther G.

In the south... The South!! Sherman territory! My Hetzers are engaged with 4 Shermans in the middle of the map. Lost one, had to support with Panthers! I also have some PzIV's there to help. A fifth Sherman towards Jess's rear area killed a Panther after a good slugfest. This battle can probably be heard in Washington! Thats good, because they will know what it is when they hear it THERE!
