Faber, I'm playing with PDU off, so I must build Nells......and a bunch of obsolete stuff like Nates (for a couple of months) and Sonias.
Monsoons are in the beta patch, but the months will change in the official patch. Can't remember the new months though.
So, will you be accompanied by you know who at Bali?! [;)] [:D]

Basically IRL the dry monsoon is ~winter and the wet monsoon ~summer. They mistakenly coded for the dry winter months to be monsoon (meaning wet), so they're gonna switch for the official patch. See
CIA World Factbook - Burma.

Looks like impatience has got the better of us....and we are going to get under way today......and then patch as we go.......
Only 4 ops losses doing turn 1....not bad.....but these are the first points to Steven....even before he knows he's at war.......

Just a snippit of the main Air/Naval action on turn 1..........
As usual.....I failed to sink any of the Big Boys at PH on turn one.........unlucky.....hmmm.....or do we make our own luck?
The good news is that POW and Repulse are fighting the rest of the war from several fathoms under the ocean.....
The bad news is my air losses sinking them were very high......I'll post turn one air lossses next....after putting the children to bed...
..and then post Invasion updates.
Overall......a normal/common or garden turn one........not great and not bad either.....but it feels great to be underway.

First......I've stopped RnD on any aircraft due after 6-45.......
Apologies for a newbie question:
How much Heavy Industry-Supply do you save by halting RnD? I couldn't find it in the manual. Thanks.

Hi witp1951............I didn't halt RnD just changed what I was RnD-ing........I'll have to pay 1000 supply to now repair the new RnD factories.......per factory point repaired.......hope that helps.....
Just now working my turn 2......
One silly mistake which I'll point out .....if only as a cautionary tale.....
I stopped Nak Ha 5 production....and the only aircraft using this engine type...the Topsy......without looking to see there are 100+ Ha 5s in the pool.....note to self......don't be sloppy...this is a waste of engines.....stop Ha-5....build Topsy for a couple of months to clear the pool.........
