I find it much harder to have AS on hand. Plenty of AE or AKE to convert but you can´t convert anything to AS. And their replacement isn´t really great. If you lose a couple of them you can soon run short. And subs far more often need torp replenishments than BBs need main gun ammo. And sub torps are more or less as hard to replenish as BB gun ammo.
Castor,
I count 50+ ships that can be converted to AS -- how many you need ? I know many of these you can't convert back and some are better used as AV/AR/AKE ...

hmmm, couldn´t find them in the game nor with tracker so far. Will have to try again. [&:]

when I use tracker, ship conversions I can´t find any AS in the filter "convert to (type)", nor "convert to (class)".
what am I doing wrong?
Just to point out, I´m looking for Allied ones, not Japanese.

Nothing wrong, I just forgot you were playing as the Allies ... yeah, there are no AS conversions for the Allies (or so I can see), the Allies don;t get many, but then I assume[&:] that they can be resupplied by other means.

me as a JFB, there are times when I too forget that I´m playing as the Allied... [:D] looking at my replacements I regret it anyway when thinking about putting out 200 top notch fighters a month by my Imperial industry. [;)]
