t-34s are good pzIII killers too!
It's eerily quiet on the left flank... just mopping up infantry units...
In the centre my BA-10 ran straight into an 88 and a Wespe, flame tank came up, no more 88 and those guys in that Wespe must be getting hot in there!
We're advancing onto Round Top slowly but surely... on the far right flank we've seen the Elefant! Fired a few shots, plink plink... hmm, not goodski...

ever see an ant-hill covered with red-ants?
I see one now---
I still hold the middle but hellcat just won the valley pass...I even put a Wespe in the ceter to try and give direct fire support..he died for greater Germany...
Roundtop is not really round..it is shaped like a bean,,or maby Guadicanal... in the center of the hill is a valley running right through the hill.....
Both flanks of the hill are thick woods and swamp...
Hellcat holds both flank..and the valley center..
I am loosing!
my 88s are all but dead...lost 1 hvy, 2 lights, and lots of infantry this round...

man we lost two tanks!

it seems not all of Jess' 88s are out of business just yet...
All is quiet on the left flank (too quiet maybe?), on the right there seems to be a lot of engineers hiding out in the forest near the marsh - we're engaging them with our infantry as well as the nearby spec ops teams. There's two burning elefants there now too
In the centre we found some pzIIIs and have taken out most of them as well as some flak halftracks and another wespe. In the distance however, behind the hill we can see some panthers... I bet there's some Tigers lurking somewhere too... There's also a nest of Fjs putting up a fight but we're tackling them squad by squad.
more german air attacks but nothing to worry the glorious people's army

there are ALOT of dead german engineers on our right flank now... although I did manage to katyusha myself too

...
The Panthers approaching the hill are now being engaged, one already falling victim to our gunnery.
On the left flank, the order has been given to wheel right and sweep the map clear of the fascist pig presence wherever it may be found! Trees crash down and engines groan as the 'heavies' turn to perform their orders...
Glory for the people!

Comrade! With many great regrets I offer you my surrender, you have out fought my men and my battle plans. You are a great leader of war and here is my sword.....
Hellcat kick'd my arse in this one! I went with an old scenario that was not really designed for 2 vs 2 player battle. However play test always showed that the Germans could win the day on Roundtop. I was very...very...wrong to think I could out fight such a great player as Hellcat!
Hats off Hellcat! Enjoy the victory! (while you can)

Your surrender is accepted! Please proceed to the train station where the trains leave for Siberia. Unfortunately there is no room on the train so please just walk along the track until you get there. As the officer you can have this bicycle. Unfortunately someone stole the wheels.
Of course this is not a real vistory as it was scen not designed for 2 player. However, I shall bask in the momentary glory but will be pushing for real victory in the Pacific game with Jess - San.
yet more glory for the people's army!
