as I developed a cramp in my neck looking up at nothing for the entire weekend.
Hey Jenny....are you still trying to figure out your moves for your last turn or what? It'll be approaching a week really soon here since I saw your last turn....where are you? Come out and Fight.

My last turn on the 'Friends' scenario is overdue by more than a week! I think he must be out of town still.

litters the landscape...and five 152's pollute the air with foul greasy smoke that billows up from their twisted and wrented superstructures....which have been ripped open by 88mm shells.
Keep them coming Jenny....my panzer crews can use a bit more practice.
After a long period of silence...welcome back by the way...Jenny returns with a bull-rush effort to the south...dozens and dozens of these great, big, monster Russian beasts are swarming about down there....while she probes about up north.
Turn on it's way....just like the shells my Kingy's sent your way...lol.

Hey Jess....the last time I saw that many things explode into flames was during the fireworks display last 4th of July!
Wow...if turns were being rated by the Motion Picture Academy, this one would be Rated X simply because of the violence!!! Parts of 152's were sailing into the air all over the place...here a boom...there a boom....everywhere a boom boom! I had to turn away after the tenth 152 went up...it was getting too gory for even me to enjoy....well, almost.
After posting my warning that I had used mines in my battles to counter expected airdrops and the hordes of cheaper Soviet armor...Jenny went full force at one of my fields and paid a terrible toll. It re-inforces my intentions to call for limits on these weapons in future battles...as this one turn proves how bad they can unbalance a game.
Now mind you though, there are gaps in these fields....I have never made a continous belt in any game as it would keep me from advancing when the time was ripe...However, in this little brawl I guess Jess forgot to tell Jenny to send recon units out to find those gaps. I guess you might call that a mistake.
Ok, I need to go say a prayer for all the splattered Russians that were wiped out on that turn...I'd light a candle for them, but I think they wouldn't appreciate more fire at this period of time.
ps....Reading Sun Tzu was the best thing I ever did!

either one of you out there? Or are you still in a state of shock from that last turn in our battle? I understand completely...it was an ugly site to see that much crap go up in smoke so quickly.
Well, take your time and gather yourselves together...I'll be waiting in the wings...I'm eager to see what happens with the next turn. More fireworks perhaps?

what a week....
First, I finally become a "vet", which is cool

.....then I get involved in multiple battles....one of which leads to a surrender offer from the likes of Jess?!?!
What a week! Should have played the Lotto too!
I'll accept the offer of surrender Jess...but you have to send me your turn...as I can always use to see some more explosions!!! From the sounds of it...this turn wasn't much better than the last I guess? ****....and I was readying my Kitties to to spring forth too! Even had my re-inforcements on their way....some more evil kingsters to tear up what was left over!
As for a re-match...I want to take a step back and concentrate on Case White a bit more...so three battles is my new limit. Currently I had you, Hellcat (one I have to consider on-going as we have the Thielemann-Belchekov theme going) Goblin, Seth and Vitreum all going and I'm spread a bit thin. Not to mention I have a stake in your A Bridge Too Far...so that will leave one spot to rotate around once I finish with Goblin/Seth/Vitreum. So...a re-match is fine with me...but it will have to wait a bit.
Not to mention it will give me time to savour my first "surrender". Next time no mines...or at least a limit.

Show me the money....

Should we post Oob's? or in the case of those Russian troops of yours the "R I P"s?
Just kidding....have to have some fun with it...it's my first pbem victory.
