This is the one thing in my humble opinion that this game lacks, a random map generator with objectives.
Setting objectives for a player is complicated enough on a random map considering you're just editing the existing game, without even considering trying to get the AI to perform against the problem. (such as defending an area, or assaulting an area)
I set myself mini-objectives in each game to give myself more fun, for example I've put a random titan on wait time 1000 to simulate it arriving "late" to the battlefield, or hiding on one side of a river and waiting for the enemy to engage me across it.
