I gave myself 10 IIIh's

the armor and speed of the british tanks isnt bad and hellcats tactics are sound but those 2lb guns border on pure uslessness.

The Germans used most of their new III's on the East Front where they were still overmatched by the Kvs and T-34s.

I would of taken the lossed on the East Front then tore the British a new one in North Africa.

our 2 pounders are no match for the enemy armor and Fj's secret weapon turns out to be captured t-34s! shipped over from the East front (along with those SS no doubt!)

We may well have to go onto the defensive but we will not surrender, there is plenty of fight in the Brits yet and by hook or by crook we may well even the odds.

Most of his light armor is gone all that remain are those matilda beasts...
If they had 6lb guns they would be deadly but as it is they are 30 tons of useless metal.
I have to drive around to their sides and rears at 1 hex to be able to crack them.

My t-34's and 5 more III h's are about to enter the fray.


He is fighting hard and has taken 3 more halftracks and one of my III's with a demo charge from a sapper.

Their are 100's of fires along the sand and the seen looks like something out of dante's inferno with all the dust, fire, craters and loud explosions.

I think im gona be able to pull this out with a DV unless he kills alot more of my equipment.

you under estimate Tommy's fighting spirit! we fight on, with or without armour! It ain;t over yet by jolly jove!

What does it take to kill a matilda?
I put rounf after round into them at 1 hex into the rear and to no effect.

hellcat it still pressing onward with his infantry but I am in the process of mopping up the map right now.

A few more turns and Ill be able to move my forces forward to his victory hexes.

After that, we will drive those imperialistic limeys from Egypt

two armour kills this turn! while our own armour may be no match for Jerry our boys are fighting hard and dying harder. FJ still has quite a bit of ground to cover if he plans to turn all those Union Jacks into German and we'll fight him every inch.

hellcat is fighting me tooth and nail in this one.

His last ditch infantry attack over the central ridge is broken up by 5 of my III h's the only matilda tank in support takes a tungeston round to the side and goes up in flames.

This mop up will take many more turns and several more lives:(

at least 4 german afv kills!

even that good old British desert stalwart the 25 pounder firing over open sights gets into the mix!

I played the turn yesterday but forgot to post.


The battle is going slow but well. 2 more matildas bite the bullet. His desperatre charge through my middle has been fully replused but it has tied up 5 of my Pz III h's. Up north we have battled to one of the bloodiest standstills ever. Out of 25 tanks and 2 platoons of infantry a few scattered squads and 2 Pz III's (one dameged) and a vickers tank are all that remain.

Down south ive about broke him. My III's softened him up while my stol...uhhh...."liberated" T-34's have been the dagger throught the heart.
He put 25lb howitzers into an ATG role and so far have been the only guns hes had that have been worth a ****. They can even damage T-34's
I tried supressing them but with the T-34's crappy gun optics didnt do much.
I ended up saying **** it and ran over the gd things.
It was effective, end of story.

two (count em!) T-34 kills! and a pzIII immobilised! Tommy fights on.

My right flank is progressing nicely and I grab all the victory hexes.
My middle will begin to move along a bit after I slaughter all thats left.
My left is whats bothering me. He has his Aux forces moving along the top of the map and I dont have anyting to defend up there. I bought 4 more T-34's and Ill rush them up there when they hit the field.
I really wanna post some screens of this battlefield. Its pure carnage all across our lines.

4 more t-34s!!! man, am I fighting Russians or Germans???, we've managed to smoke a pzIII and that's about it so far...

it's chaos, total chaos but we're determined to do as much damage to the Germans as we possibly can before this ends. FJ has been conistently targeting my arty for several rounds also so even that has become a problem for me. Only guts left now.

man I am gonna get me some payback after this!

Goodness he carted in a few more platoons of commandos...

Ill have to mop them up as well.
Im left with very few "useable" tanks.
The turns continue to drag on.

we're still killing tanks! Including another T-34! The battlefield is littered with smoking tanks, abandoned 2 pounders, mortars, 40mm AA guns and 88s.

hellcat is still draggins this one out.

Im sure his force morale is about to break.

Every turn I kill about a dozen infantry and shoot up some trucks.

This one may go down to the wire.

I think we are almost there, disabled a pzIII and noticed a t-34 crew had kindly gotten out of their tank so shot them down... I have never seen so many discarded weapons littering a battlefield!
