Hm.
Is anybody here who might tell me how to buy this game without using a credit card?
Or does DR also use Click&Buy, like iTunes?

I am unexperienced with buying sth online, just iTunes and some things via Amazon...

Distant Worlds will not be released to retail, it will be available exclusively through our Online Store, as with most of our titles. If you don't like to order online, you can always use the phone number in the store to call in an order - you can pay by credit card, paypal, check, bank transfer and other methods. We try to make it as easy as possible.

I've seen this. My question was to someone who had experience with Digital River and the payment methods. I would like to use "Lastschift", which is direct debit in english, i think.
But DR is not in Germany, so i don't know if i can use this payment method.
And i don't really want to get a credit card for this single game...

I'm not actually sure, the best way to find out would probably be to call or e-mail the store. But if that works with PayPal you could also use it that way, or do a bank transfer or send a check. There are a few options other than credit cards. I believe some of the payment methods we support in Europe are debit cards, so hopefully yours would work too but I can't confirm that for sure.

Guess i can try it out at least on friday. Hope for thursday.

Paypal is another option other than plastic too.

Its kind of like getting robbed on the street, sucks when it happens but the vast majority never experiences it. Would you stop using cash because 1 person out of 10000 got robbed?
(yes i still use cash irl lol, something about that paper money feeling! plus, you dont have your entire bank savings in your pocket lol)
