If you look under "Features" on the main game page it shows:

An Estab Editor to modify or create Forces, Equipment, Ammo, Formations, etc.

Interesting, that DETAIL wasn't listed when I looked up the product page at 11 a.m. EST, so Erik must have edited it.
Oh btw ... I used CTRL-F to search for "estab", to make sure I'm not overlooking something. [:D] Only the ingame features "estab data view" and "weapon estabs" showed up, the editor was not mentioned anywhere. Thanks for the info, though, it's listed now.

It's true, I added that today. Thank you for pointing out that it was missing.

So, can someone enlighten me here, please?

Simo?
A very well written e-manual comes with the game describing how to use the estab editor. Dave wrote it himself.

How do you know complaining won't change the price? Obviously the reason I made my post was for that very reason. Matrixgames needs to price realistically considering I buy just about all my games via DD now and mostly I only buy when they are on sale at reduced prices too. I get super deals on games online almost weekly. $83.00 CAD is not a good deal for a game nor is it a realistic price for a DD.

edit: supposed to be a reply to Henri's post and not BDeaves, sorry.

I see. but are there any limitations? Is the editor going to be supported or is it included on an "as is"-basis?

Hello,

We are listening and we fully understand why many of you are concerned with the price of this game and wanting to know if this is a shift in our pricing
policy. The answer is both yes and no. No this is not a shift in our pricing policy. Each product is priced for that product. On the yes side because we
always work with our developers when deciding the final price for any product. In the case of this game the release price was what Panther Games felt was
needed to allow them to recover their efforts and invest in new products. We will also be releasing a demo for you to try in the next few weeks,
which should help with your decisions on Command Ops: Battles from the Bulge.

Sorry about the rant, Wodin, but if no one else is going to say it, I will. I get that you're disappointed with the price of the game, I really do, it is quite expensive. But posting multiple posts about how it's expensive and you're not going to get it, and even dedicating a thread to that fact, and in addition posting a different thread on this publisher's forum pointing members to a different publisher's offering of the same product is extremely bad form, in my opinion of course. Could I possibly suggest that you take your disappointment a bit more in stride, and remember that you are, as we all are, guests on this forum, and should at least show some respect to the people running it?
