Thanks Adam. This is a great thread for those testing the waters.
Took me maybe 10 minutes to edit the Tutorial scenario, move some forces around, and I am liking what I see. I give the Infantry (foot) BN orders to take the crossing. Instead of going head-long, it crosses the river along the right flank under cover of the woods and hits the German defending the main crossing in the rear.
Just one example of a very adaptive AI.

Adam, apart from Skorzency's Bid for Glory. I still haven't much beyond the tuts and vids, I just like absorbing delicacies like this slowly to gain maximum enjoyment. See mate that's the difference between us life enjoying country, lets appreciate time lads as opposed to one speed lets get it done asap city slickers.[:D] [:D]
I learned many years from an old dude I met while travelling the outback, "that time means nuthin" (it has become my motto ever since) He was right, while my mate and I were scooting around at 100 MPH (no speed limits in the outback those days) he was just meandering at steady slow pace, but every few days for a couple of weeks, this old fella managed to catch to us over and over. His final parting wordings were "time passes us all sooner or later so why bother rushing there". so I guess the moral to my story is, to get the maximum benefit of our purchase of BFTB is to digest the qualities of this game package as a whole, and you're not going to do that over night.

I just finished the St. Vith scenario(with out tutorials) and was suprised how the german units tried to out flank elements of the 4th armor division. I had a marginial defeat(allied). Maybe next time.

Yes for a one sided scenario, it has it surprises, I have played several times and its fun. I like smallish scenarios. Try Skorzency's Bid for Glory, small number units and a day and half in duration.

Small unit load was always my favourite in the previous games...so I'm interested to see how I get along with the higher unit loads BftB has...
