Some suggestions/comments after playing a few missions:
1.I like to be able to zoom in/out more and alter the pitch angle. It's very nice we can edit the view ourselves via the MAPVIEW file. Here are the values I used:
Pitch 30
Zoom 200
Zoomlimit 700
Rotate 30
Fov 30
2.It would be nice to have a game speed slider. I'd like my tanks to move a little slower rather than race around like sport cars as mentioned ealier in the forums.
Love the art style of the game.

Yeah I agree. First, with the latest patch the zoom out is much better. You do need to add a line to the user txt though. Instructions at the Slitherine forum.
It would be nice to have the pitch variable also. And the vehicle speed variable.
Re the infantry, perhaps making the uniforms darker would help.

Just a minor feature would be to 'save' the last choosen campaign/scenario. Now, current release, I have to choose campaign, select the campaign, use OK, and then scroll through all scenarios of the campaign to find the last one. Would be nice if this could be a bit improved somehow

I played a few mp games. Really fun!
I notice -at least in the three games played- there are no victory flags. The two equally matched sides collide and duke it out. In other words, a Meeting Engagement, a species of battle uncommon in the real world. Some attack/defend scenarios would be cool. Unless I haven't encountered them yet....

In the real world objective flags aren't shown to both sides. Each side will have it's own objective made up by the commander. It's defined by phase lines and areas of operation. So for the multiplayer operation... the objective is basically "clean up the area of any enemy activity". Isn't this common in the real world?
But I agree that more variety in objectives is needed.

I think Pford's point is that in the real world, both sides are unlikely to be 'cleaning up the area' at the same time. One might be cleaning it up, but the other will likely be trying to hold it.
I'm just starting my first MP game and was wondering what would happen if I just dug my units into the nearby houses. Will the enemy come for me or not?

It could be pretty boring!

The same thought occurred to me. But the mp games I've tried are pretty built up and armour heavy so hunkering down in buildings could be hazardous given HE power. Particularly on the perimeter.
The Meeting Engagement scenarios were very popular in mp Combat Mission because they were perceived as 'fair' but such battles featuring equal sides tend to be wargamer fantasies. They're rare in actual war and when they occur one doesn't
know the other side has equal combat values.
