something like PGII or Steel panthers WAW
Battlefield Academy hands down is what you're looking for.

What about old classics like John Tillers Civil War- still playable and fun- easy to do- doesnt take much rules read and if you've been around gaming a long time its a fit like an old glove. There are others- newer- shinier- and more time consuming. Just a bee in the bonnet..

well i do like Ba alot, however great news for me but bad news on the new game front. MY HOUSE SOLD IN 2 days so i now have to really move on finding a new house
We thought our house would sit for months but one showing and first offer done, so no time for games now. need to pack, search for new house and change kids school all in 60 days
we did not even start looking until the week before we put the house up so we are a bit behind the ball

bean5671, I was to recommend you checking Wasteland Interactive World War II sale (I mean Time of Wrath and Storm over the Pacific promotions):
tm.asp?m=2563623 , but since you no longer have time for wargaming maybe you will have opportunity to have a look at those games in future.

Congrats Bean. You'll get settled in and back to your pasttime before long. [;)]
Anraz' suggestion is quite valid, too, if you want some on a grand strategy scale. I own Time of Wrath and can defnitely say it's easy to get into and play for a hex-based game. [8D]
