Are you running the site in the compatibility view mode? On my machine, the compatibility view mode does not play well with this site.

The store looks great. The layout and game pictures are much improved. The unlimited re-download is a very welcome feature. Although the old system worked for me, it was a hassle-much more so for Matrix staff I'm sure.

The site works fine for me using the IE 9 Beta and Chrome.

One oddity; I could have sworn I saw an available video at the store in my first pass of it, but it was not to be found when I went back. I don't recall seeing any videos in the old store at all.

Good work.

Hi Diablo1,

The most basic way to take a screenshot is to hit Control-PrintScreen while you have the site loaded, then open Paint and Edit -> Paste, then save it as a GIF or JPG to upload here.

I can try this in Vista tomorrow.

Regards,

- Erik

Well I've hit CTRL+PRINTSCREEN 100 times and it's not doing anything. I've opened Paint and a number of other picture video programs and nothing is coming up.

It is a bit easier with two monitors, but still easy with one.
Just do the following
1. Open Paint
2. Create destination folder (for later ease of use-default is Pictures-you can put it wherever-in this case I would suggest Desktop)
3. Open browser, navigate to Matrix store
4. Press and hold control (on keyboard) and click "Print Screen".
5. Restore Paint
6. Click on Paint screen, then hit the control + V key-or use edit dialog to paste.
7. Use File menu to select folder to save to, or just hit save which will send the picture to Pictures by default.

That should do the trick for you.

Jomni did it with the over-sized picture-assuming you are talking just about this thread.

And Jomni...IE 6 ??? Let it go-its time to move on.

[:o]

Pictures work fine on Firefox 3.6.12. A little reboot fixed my issues. Sorry for the incorrect report. [:o]

Thanks guys, we have duplicated that issue with the What's New section overlapping the other areas and we are working to fix it. Jomni - IE6 is just about the worst browser IMHO. If you don't have a good reason to stay with it, I would also recommend upgrading.

LOL! I can't upgrade since this is a company laptop. But I'm using Firefox and higher version of IE at home. :)

Sorry for the oversized picture by the way.

Anybody with browser display problems. The first thing you should try, no matter our page or others, flush the browsers cache, restart browser and visit the page again so it loads everything completely new. Sometimes, with site relaunches you get funny things happen if some pieces like the style sheets etc. use the same names as formerly.

Also, ditch that crappy compatibility modes for IE. It is worth nothing ;)

Your company should investigate why your system admins let you guys run on one of the worst browsers ever.
Not only that IE6 is a security problem these days too.

<Typing this in IE6 [;)]>

The reason my, and probably other companies too, keep IE6 around is because the web applications we develop are used by a European-wide customer base of which a lot aren't so technically advanced that they even know how to upgrade the IE that came with their computer x years ago.

So, sad but true, IE6 is still the baseline on which every web app developed here must still run, but of course we ourselves have later versions and Firefox too.

The good thing about IE6 is that it *literally* starts in half a second on my machine. <insert rant about bloatware here>

Eddy,

It's true that we all still need to develop with IE6 in mind, but when the day comes that we can stop developing for IE6, we will all have a little party. [8D]
