Thank you very much! That's the only thing I really needed to know. Haven't played DW for about a week now since I finished my latest game. Didn't want to start a new one when the expansion was so close.

We will also have a bundle where if you buy Distant Worlds and Return of the Shakturi together, you get a 20% discount on Return of the Shakturi, making it $19.99. With the current sale price on Distant Worlds, this is an oustanding package for the amount of gameplay you get.
We will also make that bundle pricing available to existing customers for the first two weeks after release. That means that for everyone, the starting price of Return of the Shakturi will be $19.99. This way if you already own DW, you can get Return of the Shakturi at the bundle price as if you were buying the package now. After that initial period, the non-bundle price of Return of the Shakturi will return the standard $24.99 level and after the Holiday Sale, the price of DW will return to its normal level too. The next few weeks will definitely be the best time to buy in, both for existing customers and those who are thinking about jumping in.

This way if you already own DW, you can get Return of the Shakturi at the bundle price as if you were buying the package now.
Having bought DW less than 2 weeks ago, I have to say : you guys rock !

As I've had quite some free time recently, I think I must have played over 10 hours a day for the past 2 weeks. So yeah, I really love this game
I'm glad to know the expansion will come out soon, I was waiting for it before starting a new game.

Correct - the pricing right now is that the expansion is at the bundle discount price and the original game is on sale. Once the sale price ends and the promo period with the lower base price for the expansion ends, then there will be a bundle that allows the expansion to be purchased together with the base game at a discount.
Purchasing now with both the initial promo price and the holiday sale, you can get both for less money than the bundle will be later on.
