Bravo sir, I was just thinking about tinkering with this idea [;)]

Hi Icekill - thanks for the mod! By the way, I wonder how easy would it be to darken the light woods on the map. I noticed that heavy woods are only found at the extrene north of the map, which is fine but I like how the darker(heavy woods) contrasts with the rest of the map.

Without changing hex values, I simply thought the map would look a little more pleasing to the eye to have certain areas of light woods made a little darker. Strictly a cosmetic change. How difficult would it be to do this? Is it even possible?

You are wrong.
Soldiers were not criminals.
They just served the nation.

it's a fact universally known, during world war 2 ,japanese army did genocide in China against civilians and many crimes known as crimes of war like rapes,torture, medical tests ,executions of prisoners of war and so and!
my father did the world war 2 against nazis and myself ,i'm a retired soldier,fighting in differents operations in Africa
i know things are not white or black but sometime fade to grey, everyone knows what i mean !
so it's not the place to argue but things must be said.

However, even though,your comment sounds like all Japanese soldiers are criminals.I think it's too offensive.
Some soldiers(and officers and generals) commit ugly criminals for sure.but orher soliders didn't.
My grandfather served the nation.so I have to save his honor.

My German Grandfather fought in Russia during the war. One of the lucky one's to survive capture. Did he do what he was ordered to do...sure. That in and of itself did not make him a bad man. Luckily he was in the artillery and stayed, kind of, behind the front.

as i said ,i have great respect to the memory of you grand father who was a brave soldier, i'm sure, this is the way we must remember them.
On the french flag i've served during 26 years and my father before me ,The order's motto is Honneur et Patrie ("Honour and Fatherland")
each soldier must keep in mind this words ,even on the battlefield! not easy sometime !

Thank you for the mod. With Soviet hammer and sickle freely used in the game I don't see why should there be no Nazi flag.

PS. Hope to buy the game soon. I have been waiting for a long time, but, sadly, I have got no time to play

My deepest respect to the Japan war heroes, whose souls live in the Jasukuni shrine. And my deepest contempt to the war criminals from every side of the conflict.

Please guys lets stay in topic, it's just a graphical mod i designed for a game.

No political/criminals/victims talking anymore here, it was a war, and in every war there are lots of good and bad soldiers and leaders in every nation and ugly episodes in all the fronts and by every army, so let's leave that kind of discussion for a related thread.

Even if this mod was still available it probably isn't 100% compatible any longer as so many things have changed.

I still have the original its still compatible as of right now, but they've added more units since the mods creation so one would have to fix some of the picture files which is relatively easy.
