I believe you have the forces to make that pocket happen using just one panzer corps plus 11th army and the Rumanian armor. See below.

I don't think that he'll leave the pocket there, he's starting to be pinched in good in the salient to the west. I also think he'll be to tempted to surround Romanian armor. I think I over extend it and have nothing close by to extract it if he does[:(].
If he does leave it open I surely will give it a try! Nice edit of my graphics thanks [;)]

Leaving bypassed units behind rather than destroying them? Hmmm, where have I seen that before?[8D]
I don't get not defending the Dnepr; not sure what master plan could be in place, unless it's to lure you right to Moscow. Defending it should buy a couple weeks anyway.
I also don't get defending the Tarnipol/Stanislav bulge. Those units should have been marching east from turn-1. You probably won't bag very many, but they aren't digging either.
The strategy seems to be to "Run from Panzers, hold vs. Infantry".

I figured why waste time with my main forces in taking these units out as you know [:D]
I'm not sure what his plans are but your idea of run from tanks, hold vs inf has a lot of weight to it.
I'm going to try and squeeze him out of that salient he's in. I doubt i'll be able to pocket many if any at all but it really is starting to stretch me to thin guarding that flank.
