Here is a flock of Mig-3's:
Oh yes, those are nice... fresh from the factory floor... Does the text on the side mean "For Stalin" ???
The arrow was a navigational aid for rookie pilots...
"Fly in this direction" [:D]

No, the text means "Za Rodinu" - For the Motherland.

OK got it. Stalin introduced that, above fighting for the communist state, as it would appeal more to the public.

also......I've been collecting a lot of spam over the past two weeks and I've harvested their "email address" in the 'from' line and thought maybe if I published their addresses in the clear that some web address harvester might find them and start sending THEM some spam.

That is INDEED a lot of spam, Larry!

What makes me think there are some deluded individuals that will just HAVE to tab one of those addresses in order to check 'em out, LOL!

You might check with IObit, they have a good running malware checker, eh?

Thanks for the tip.........I have it scanning my machine as we speak.

My problem with yahoo.com is that they only allow 500 "filters" per email address and I've used them all. I may have to delete my email account and start another one somewhere else just to get away from all the spam. LOL.

Yeah, I'm running the 'Advanced System Care' 4beta, and it works fine for that sort of thing, eh? They have lots of different freebies to try out......

Yahoo? Ugh! Try Gmail or something....preferably something that works well with your browser so you can use one scanner that will work well for both! Or something like that....

I got rid of my spam problem.  I closed my yahoo.com mail account and opened one in Gmail:

fulkersonlarry60 (at) gmail (dot) com.

I have yet to receive a spam.  Works pretty good so far.

Nice AAR's, Larry! I especially like the adding of the movies, give a punch to it all!

Yeah, playing a lot of WW1 didn't hurt my learning about artty, eh?

A battlecruiser and RRguns? [:-]

Thanks. I just found out how to add those WWII movies and I like 'em too.

I'm going to have to add some tidbits of trivia / info from the manual to my AAR's....both to share it with you guys and learn from the manual myself.

The Axis doesn't have a surplus of HEAVY arty like the Soviets. I've noticed that the 150mm howitzer's organic to the HQ units have a range of 1 and isn't really condusive to attacking that way. I can't see me moving my HQ unit adjacent to an enemy combat unit for any good reason because I don't want to lose any of my command group(s) or support squads. So they ( the organic 150mm guns ) are almost useless in this scenario. I've noticed that the Swedes and Finns have some 150mm guns that have a longer range and can be used to bombard like I had planned to use the Axis guns and now that the Swedes are in the game maybe I can put them to good use. I can't wait until it's the Soviet turn to go on the offensive.....they have arty coming out of their ears and a lot of it is the heavy duty stuff.

Um......so I signed up to be one of the betatesters on the version 3.5 TOAW so these AAR's might be coming out more slowly now.  Sorry about that.  That's the price we pay to have a more realistic, better version overall.  Kudos to Ralph for doing the job of three people on this bad boy.  I really appreciate his labors.

I used to be a betatester on the original Matrix Games version of TOAW when MG first bought it. I talked to David Heath about maybe doing the job Ralph is doing now but he decided to go with Ralph instead which is a really great idea now seen in retrospect. Anyway, I dropped out of betatesting after about a year or so but my logon to the Development forum was never deleted so when I tried to get on the Development forum just out of curiosity here about a week ago I found to my amazement that it still worked. And I asked Ralph and Bob Cross (aka Curtis Lemay ) if I might pretty please betatest again and they welcomed me into the club. Bob says he's not sure who is in charge of the betatesters but I'm guessing that he is in fact, de facto, the head dude you'd need to talk to. Either him or Ralph. Or both. Anyway, give him an email and volunteer my friend. As a matter of fact, I understand that there is a need for more than one more so it couldn't hurt. It doesn't pay anything but you DO get a copy of the latest version that way. LOL.
