okay, 4K pts sounds good, as far as countries and time periods go, I think we can accomadate everybody by letting the players decide on those. So for example if Mogami plays against Goblin, it may be Holland vs Germany 1940. If I play against Goblin it may be 1942 etc.

I go for Goblins freewheeling approach. Limit points to 4K. Random selection of players intitially by Country. Then let players decide what time period is optimum for potential success for either.

That point system looked doable and simple I say go for it. Anything that will get the show on the road and simplify the process.

My two cents 1st a uninterested party draws countrys for the first round, and the first round is force on force any year, 2nd round42-43, last round 44-49

I would imagine that if you chose English you could choose from Canada, Aussies, Kiwi's, or even India if you wanted? Gotta dig those Ghurka's.

What you can choose will be up to the opponent you play. If he says you can by his countries equipment too, go for it!

Also, I see alot of names missing that I would have expected here. We should wait and see if they will join this. Even if we have to have 14 players. No?

I was trying to get away from having so many of the same nation for the toruny so.......in the spirit of originality ill be Finland.

3 reasons for such:

1. They are good (Poland and France suck as nations no one uses)
2.They are hardly ever used
3. Ill have the backing of some of the more hardcore members of this forum (if thats a good thing:D )

With all the above not withstanding (does anyone really know what that means?) I will be going to the coast on the 5th with my family and returning on the 13th or 14th.

And, as I don't have a laptop with a wireless modem I will have to take a break after about noon on Friday.

I still have a couple of turns in me for the "Frozen Tundra" and for you Gary. But, just wanted to let everyone know so that I still get to be an Englander when I get back.
