Here are the eight contestants in the Second AE Tournament:
1. offenseman
2. CapMandrake
3. PoultryLad (aka Chickenboy)
4. Raverdave
5. Captain Cruft
6. Scott1964
7. fabertong
8. Blind Sniper
Now, the fun part (for me, anyhow). I'm about to draw the pairings for Round One:
1. Captain Cruft
vs.
2. Scott1964
3. Chickenboy
vs.
4. Blind Sniper
5. offenseman
vs.
6. Raverdave
7. Cap Mandrake
vs.
8. fabertong
The same rules as in Tournament One (refer to that thread). Round One shall be Coral Sea Scenario (for uniformity with Tournament One; I heard you guys, though, so in a futre tournament we can change that to a more challenging scenario; but we may want the winner of this tournament to square off vs. the winner of the other tournament). Deadline to complete these matches shall be midnight at the end of March 20.
Good luck, gents! Thanks for entering.

The fencing has ended in the game where I am Japan. The USN was first to attack and damage to flight decks prevented my forces from mounting much of a counter strike. However, strong forces were able to land at PM uninterrupted. It will be interesting to see how the points turn out in this one.
In the other game, we are one day behind that game and little has happened yet. I did discover something that many of us who only play one side have probably discovered- playing with unfamiliar units. I have always played vs the Allies and now, playing as Allies, it is checkers with chess pieces. The board is the same bu the pieces are unfamiliar. One can only learn so much about the other side from playing against it.
