Thanks Eric. I found MY (not matrix) errors. I needed to totally erase net 4.0 ,restart with fresh reload (NOT REPAIR) and also repair font and redirect htu file in OST. Game works perfectly! [:D] Now I need work on my generalship. Since I own a trillion (aprox.) matrix games I was SURE it was your program. I was wrong.

I have a similar problem, I think.

I made a mission using German names (including the little dots over some of the letters--umlauts) and now the game crashes no matter what mission I try to load. It used to work, but now the whole thing is broken, even though I changed the letters to normal English.

Initially I got .xml errors. No idea.

Your log file should show what unit is the problem. Maybe you missed one umlaut.

No mission, whether I made it or not will load now. It crashes as the scenario loads. No the umlauts are all gone. In fact, the scenario editor will let me save a game w/foreign letters, but I cannot re-load it w/out getting a .xml error.

By the way, that character was replaced, nothing weird now, but the game won't play unless I completely remove that scenario.

Crazy. Just as a warning, don't use German letters!

It seems that after working with Map Maker loading any scenario for play causes a CTD (while it is loading maps). I reinstalled the game, problem solved, but after making some map work again, CTDs reappeared. Any ideas?

Can't see any errors in the log, but the last line is always:

12.6.2011 16:55:27: Current Token: 8d1a2330dcc1fdbfa4b3d858e81243d2

Find the folder for your new map in the Media folder. Move it out of the game folders temporarily. Try the game again.

Assuming you are not using USA English localization, it could be that map maker is using letters or characters that are causing this? Just guessing.

Now it crashed while loading interface.

Three new lines in the log:
