mfr, the blocked exe doesn't seem to have prevented anyone from installing a working demo .exe. But there always is a first time.
I did have a problem about a year back of installing a blocked zip patch. So that is the concern.
I have Vista so it may not affect your Win7.
You have to first uninstall the demo then unblock the demo file. Then install again.

But what kind of key board/character set are you using BTW? We had problems with non-English.

Sorry, my brain is still a bit fuzzy from being sick for the last week plus. Can you e-mail me at erikr@matrixgames.com please? I'll e-mail you a hotfix that should work for the demo. The posted one is only for the full release.

@Mobius: I have unblocked the demo.exe (It did not download as a zip) and reinstalled the demo (after first installing it.), with no success.

Just a couple other things.
What kind of keyboard/character set are you using?

If you go to the 'Panzer Command Ostfront Demo' folder and right click the folder. Selecting properties at the bottom of the General menu does it have an 'Unblock' button?

Why does mobius screen shot show an exe file with the version number and mfr shot shows a folder with PCO_demo?

What firewall?

What antivirus?

There's a hot fix somewhere for the demo. It worked for a few people having problems with demo.

We tried that, didn't work. We'll have to give you a break for a bit, mfr, until we have another idea or a new exe to test for you.
