If the map is one of mine it will have an Hsg prefix. After the Hsg will be a number.
Hsg5 is a 500 meter map.
Hsg75 is a 750 meter map.
Hsg or Hsg1 is a 1km map.
Hsg 15 is a 1500 meter map.
Hsg2 is a 2km map.
I don't believe anyone else has a naming system that shows the size of the map in the name.
Hope that helps a little.
Good Hunting.

In the scenario listing look down in the right hand corner when you have one selected. It shows the OOB and map size for each scenario.
That allows you to read the scenario description and to determine the size of the battle.
Many thanks - that's what I've been doing so far, but obviously there are a lot of scenarios to click through to work out which are larger and which are smaller (or for example, to get 3 or 4 small ones to pick from), which is why I thought a list (or even a spreadsheet so they can be sorted by size, turns, year etc) would be quite handy.
But I agree, what's there is very useful

In the future, can you add a filter for the unit density and/or map size?
