I get that message alot during PBEM games, and generally ignore it. Sometimes I get it on one turn from an opponent, and not on the next. I think its crap. Lets go!

Russian turn 1 north

As 2lt Pugachov looked over the field he saw heavy rockets and arty hitting the positions where Germans were known to be. He also knew that this wasn't nearly enough to stop the germans, more actions were needed. He picked up the radiophone and said: "Platoon, move out, stay close and follow me".

Edit: Goblin has mail

Hi!

I downloaded the scenario. It looks really cool.

Did any of you estimate, how long will this take?

(I estimate cca. 10 months or more :D )

Good luck to both of you! I will sometimes read your reports .:D :D :D

Ok Southern Command is off and rolling, destroyed a 76.2 AA gun and 76.2 Inf gun trying to pop out of the shadows. This file is for Orzel.

Northern Forces Jump Off...

from their starting lines.

Mine fields are everywhere and the terrain favors the defender...and they claim a victim. An AFV passed through a field where the infantry just passed and Boom! D@mn mines!!!

I can feel the prying Russian eyes watching my poor troops as they move forward. Not a pleasant feeling.

Breakdowns are a major setback! :( Not a good start for the armor at all...and not very good for an operation that is going to require combined operations to be successful.

First blood to the Soviets! A MG kills two men...and a hail of fire is poured into the enemy position to at least surpress it.

_______________ ******NOTICE******_______________
The file refused to complete upload five times. :( I will send it to Jess in the hopes that he can have better luck posting it.

Russian south, turn 2

The Fascist invaders are attacking our positions south of Kursk on the shoreline of a east-west running river. Several halftracks, also some tanks visible. The commander has made an order that no German troops be let past the river.
An exposed infantry gun fires at a German infantry squad but isn't very successful.

Kaakao will carry on here..

Several of explosions are heared from the distance, mines are working, very good. Spotted some tanks, spotted some infantry, moved troops and that's about it. Orzel has covered allmost the entire frontline with smoke, what a waste of good smoke :)

Oooops

Southern Command on the move. Minor losses, 1 Panther that got careless. Destoyed 76.2mm Inf Gun and 76.2mm ATG several MG squads and ambush units, several more on the run. Several good shoot out's on the southern fence line. Slowly moving forward as the outer rim is filled with mines (my engineers are working overtime trying to clear a path) and ambush units on the other side.

Northern Command puts in request

for mine-sniffing dogs...as my engineers and infantry have two times now walked right over mines that later take out an AFV!

To top it off...what AFV's mines don't immobilize...break-downs do!!!  Another three turns like these last two and I won't have any AFV's left to fight with! Arghh.

Outside of that my infantry move forward towards their first objectives...and a Soviet ATR takes out a Recon AFV. Not a very satisfying turn I must say!

Gmenfan...sending turn to you for posting...failed twice again when I tried to post here. I'm beginning to think this scenario doesn't like me at all! :D

Go back to sleep, it was just the cat in the yard, no heavy armor or thousands of foot soldiers here, the're on a different continent. Your just having a bad dream.
