When can we look forward to seeing a PCO ladder at the Blitz?

Good Hunting.

I am pretty sure that Raz is working away at it like mad. Soon, I would suspect.

Yes and I added PCO to my profile. No scenarios listed yet I suppose.

No,not yet.Probably, once the people will start playing the game and they'll need to report it,the scenarios will start to pile up.
Anyhow, for those interested, here's how scenarios can be added to our database.I written it for CMBN ladder, but the same applies to PCO too.

That works for me except number of turns.

I was under the impression PCo has something like turns, with each turn being 40 seconds?

PCO has turns. But there is no limit to the number of turns. The game ends when one side achieves a victory or a draw is determined.

I'm afraid i can't simply remove the number of turns from that form, simply because it is shared with all other ladders.I can however make it an optional field,if necessarily.

There is usually a estimated number of turns included in the briefings. You might be able to use that. Change it from Turns to Estimated Turns for PCO and tthat should work just fine.

Good Hunting.

MR likes to put estimates in his briefings based on playtesting. We can put in zero or a guesstimate number or make it optional.

BTW turns are 80 seconds, split into two phases.

Turns can be anything from a single 40 second phase to two 60 second phases or a single 80 second turn. There are five different turn sequences possible while playing PCO.

Actually that would be the best thing to put in that field. 40:0 40:40 60:0 60:60 80:0

I posted this reply at the blitz forum

Based on our discussion at Matrix, I think the type of turn should be input as this

40:0 40:40 60:0 60:60 80:0

This indicates if the scenario is designed as a time in seconds for the order phase : time in seconds for the reaction phase. 0 indicates no reaction phase.

Last time I tried the white oval shortcut button it didn't take me to the forum. Maybe that is what he means.

Yes, the forum buttons don't work. They don't open the new PCO/CMBN forums.
