So far none of us wants to compromise his strategy, so game gets more and more weird.

Still no chances for decent pockets, so I punch holes and burst forward.

Yes of course SU attachments. I usually put the Flametanks with the SS to give them a little kick.

Wow. That is a great open and advance. You have really improved a lot in leaps and bounds Kamil from each AAR I have seen you post. Not only over the river in the south, but in the north as well and putting good pressure towards Leningrad. Just have to be somewhat careful that you don't get your guys cut off and certainly go to pin his industry by either cutting his rail lines or wiping it out. 

Definitely much improved...his C&C is way better and he's grasped the concept of wide and deep panzer thrusts to unhinge the defense.

As Ketza mentioned... Kamil first turn was definitely devastating [&o] and it made me try and avoid any other encirclement!

Also, I am a great fan of Napoleon's Russian campaign (1812)... and I am more a Barclay de Tolly than a Bagration... rather lose Smolensk and Moscow than have the Army destroyed. I think that 3 times, the Scythian strategy saved Russia while they didn't chose to conduct it (Poltava - 1812 - 1941).

Well, that doesn't mean that you will thrust forwards so easily until mud comes... As Kutuzov, I might feel that I have to defend Moscow

My progress is so fast because Stephane gave me no other choice.

My problem is, that the longer he refuses to fight the better position he will be in. Soviet losses are extremely low, especially in tanks.

I feel I could have destroyed more units but I can't help myself when I see wast areas I can convert.

In post HQ buildup reality Stephane strategy seems to be really efficient. Before limiting it to 20MP he wouldn't be able to employ his strategy unpunished. I am not saying he would be loosing, because for sure Stephane would be using different defensive methods. What I am trying to say is that before introducing buildup limits that way of defending wouldn't be possible.

Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining, I am just expressing my opinion about impact of recent rules change.

Not much can be said about Soviet movement apart from well known phrase - Stephane refuses to fight.
