More and bigger MP maps. Maybe one where one fraction starts in the West corner, the other in the East corner, with no units available but a lot of prestige. Would make for great replay value.

Did you check our dedicated MP maps already? Many of them are built around this very principle (few initial units, lots of prestige).

Yes I did, though not all of them. That's where I got the general idea from, but I mean reaaaally big maps with 50 something turns :-)

The StuGs with the long barreled guns arrives way to late in the campaign. These Stugs were delivered to the front (Early 1942) even before the PzIV was fitted with the long 75mm KwK iirc.

1) After purchase go back to unit list. Would like to stay in purchase screen.

2) When upgrading get back to full strength for free (I think this has been discussed).

3) When select unit in list would like map to jump & center on that unit.

4) I'll think of others...

After hitting a hotkey, instead of the escape key to clear the info, be able to hit the same hotkey to clear.  A toggle as it were.

Isn't it already working this way? [&:]

Not sure I understood this suggestion. [8|]

For instance, when I hit "L" to bring up the last round of combat screen, I currently have to tap the "Esc" key to exit that screen. It would add years to my life if I only had to re-tap the "L" key to exit the screen. Years.

I'd like to see a random game generator, something like what is in Advanced Tactics Gold. You set a few parameters, press a button and it outputs a randomly created scenario.

One thing that bugs me sometimes is that when you move a unit into the fog of war, sometimes (or always?) you don't immediately see enemy units which have just been spotted. They only appear on the screen when you click someplace else O_o

Ego this is WAD. You must stop get out the binoculars and look around.

Of course you can willy nilly go anywhere and then get ambushed.

I believe what he meant was that if selected unit isn't already in the center of your viewing area. If a unit is already visible "somewhere" on your computer screen ie; near a corner etc. then the icon's position remains in the corner even when selected (instead of relocating to the center the screen) so the area around the unit is not entirely visible in all directions. The display contrast is also not very high, so the player needs to "search" the screen to find the selected unit... it just would be helpful if the map centered on the unit.

After battle resolution, some way (other than memory) of showing which of ones units have been lost.  And perhaps on the “Casualties” screen, indicating losses by current battle as well as campaign.

Make a button that makes the sprites face their attacker and the way they are moving so peoples heads won't explode anymore.

Why does it matter which direction the sprites are facing? I would rather have an easy visual reference to tell me which units are core and which are scenario fodder.

Fortifications sprites that doesn't vanish from the map after being spotted would be a big deal too.

-Some easier way to tell core units from aux units would indeed be nice (I think PG used black and white numbers on the counters?)
-longer campaigns, also Africa should be part of the campaign as it was in PG

I'd like the ability to see eligible hexes (via hotkey maybe) for placing a new unit before going to the Purchase screen.

Make it easier to add additional campaigns without a duplicate file that needs to be replaced.

Ability to allocate prestige points to units, not just all or none.
Dirt Roads.

It has been recommended, but want to repeat here: A counter system in the right hand corner for victory conditions. Can be used in SP, MP and campaign.
While in will not meet all victory conditions of every game ,ie. hunters of the Atlantic this change is required.

...................Required..............Current
................Victory conditions...Axis........Allies
Flags..................5..............0...........5
Victory hexes... ......3..............3...........6
Secondary Objectives...2..............2...........0

I'd love to see this, too! I know how to make backup original files and replace, etc. but I'd perfer to not have to do that. One reason I've enjoyed Civilization V is because of how easy they made modding. It adds so much to replayablilty.
