yeah, T2 I don't think the Soviets are strong enough to do much more than temporarily cut off a spearhead if they are lucky to have some units in the right place with enough movement.

The axis do get a lot of new divs in July which I like to send south to bolster 11th Army and AG south. I don't completely have faith in the Romanians to push hard on some key cities in the south. Their low morale causes them to move very slowly into previously Soviet controlled hexes.

Hard going on all fronts. I need to stop making hasty attacks.

Massive counterattack in the south, but did it spend too much Soviet strength?

Resistance to the southeast seems to be weakening.

More counter-attacks, some spearhead divisions in the south are now severely understrength. We try more of a bulldozer type approach.

Seems your making good steady progress on all fronts. [8D]
One thing that I don't like is the fatigue levels of my Pz/Mot divisions is hard to bring down in summer and fall of 41 in the rapid advance.  This caused me much grief in the past before I knew how weak that makes them to being pushed back to counter-attacks.  It's hard to stop them and rest, but it's probably the sensible thing to do?
