What is Matrix' official opinion about this? Can we have it as a small next update? (If we finally get the current one...)

I can't speak for Matrix, but from my perspective, I think we need to get the current patch out first. After that we can consider what to include in new patch updates, or in new Modules.
From my past experience in projects, before committing to something it is a good idea to get the folks that will have to do the actual programming to provide input into what a programming task involves before committing to it. I would rather that Matrix not divert the programmer from working on the current patch tasks to assess what would be involved in implementing a solution to the mount/dismount issue.
just my opinion of course.
Thanks

Rick, those are reasonable points. I would just like to avoid waiting years for it. I am a very patient person I believe but not that patient...
After finally getting the current patch it would help if Matrix would assess this and THEN communicate a realistic date.

I agree, I don't want to wait years either.
Thanks!

Now that the patch is out, how about fixing this?
