Turn 4 and things are slowing down a bit. In the North I've brought up even more infantry and the 2nd Army HQ. Due to his proximity and aggressiveness my opponent has prevented me from disengaging my northern and center panzers. in the north weve finally rescued our lost lost motorised unit at Vitebsk in the center the tanks are closing to the river as infantry arrives. going to pull the armor behind mogilev and then swing north behind leningrad. in the south ive 2 corps infiltrating the pripyat and my armor resting near proskurov as soon as i get my marsh infantry in position going to try for a pocket west of kiev. Overall scheme is a grand encirclement east of moscow.

Turn 5 emerged as a bit of a shock the enemy has apparently left Russia. The Finns are marching east unopposed after destroying remaining border garrisons german infantry has reached the Narva gap and taken Pskov without a fight, Vitebsk and the landbridge are exposed anda small bridgehead is established on the east bank ofthe Dnepr near Smolensk. The path is clear to the Dnepr in the South and Odessahas been left with a small garrison the panzers have been forced to cut short their rest to exploit this situation

Hi!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you need to read up on 14.2.2.2 MANUAL RAIL LINE REPAIR. The ss from T4 AGS shows gnat construction units repairing behind your 11th Army FBD. From looking at which hexes that are being repaired by gnats in AGN/AGC, it looks like have not used your FBD's at all. You will run out of supply shortly.

There is a thread in the war room where it is discussed what rail lines to choose to repair as the axis.

I would suggest you discuss with your opponent, resign and start over.

Again, sorry!

g.

actually thats due to enemy action he's been very active in stalling the rail reconstruction. ive got the construction hqs at vitebsk, minsk and proskurov atm. one of thereasons i chose to concentrate armorr at those points. All told im happy with the state of my supply ill post therail map on my next turn for you

turn 6 was pretty much pursuit, closing up with the enemy and pulling the armor back. Vitebsk has finally fallen. In the North it looksas though the enemy hast built fortified regions on the finnish border yet - hoping my luck holds in that regard. My luck luck is holding in the lake Ilmenn region as well. he seems to be concentrating on the novgorod/pushkin line. his forces in the center are closing on the Dnepr river, again with no rear defenses, in the south unfortunately he is fortifying a second line and i fear another retreat before i can pocket him. Ive very strong infantry north of the landbridge to hold his forces at smolensk and velikye luki where im sure he will defend . my intent is to strike northwards west of velikye luki with 4th panzer army after my infantry closes on the novgorod line and see what develops. best case is abandoning the line and moving troops to counter my strike in which case the infantry can finish the advance on leningrad and i can turn for Rzhev. The 3rd panzer army will attack to the southeast at gomel and the 2pz and 3pz will cross at cherkassy with half moving north to link with 3 pz and half heading for rostov.
